I agree let the public police the nation. New laws for grassing up all sorts of Mister meaners. For instance take a photo of your local farang teacher, has he got a work permit or is he working illegally? Inform your local immigration office. Or your retired farang has he for a valid visa, if not you could share the fine given to him. It's a great idea, bounty hunters searching high and low for farangs living here illegally.

I think that is actually the more important debate. Forget about whether it'll work or whether its actually good policy. If it doesn't work its not a big thing. Suppose it does work, and they extend the program to report on other offenses they deem worthy. That potential for a slippery slope type of deal is moreso why I would tend to oppose this. That, and its just kind of a dick move to rat someone out for something that's more of an annoyance than anything. Of course its also a dick move to ride on the sidewalk in the first place. Do two dick moves make a right?

You can grass up a farang now, there"s a four digit number you can call leave a message and they will call you back, 1115 , I think it is.

This is what the future might look like. But I'm being very paranoid now. I can't see this happening as they would have no farang expats or teachers in a matter of months. Every one would move out.

One thing springs to mind whilst reading this article. Since the coup of 2014 the motorcycle taxi driver has had his fare share of reform's. I personally know a few down my street. They are not bitter at the new reforms and never moan about then Like we farang do. Although the minority are low society and gossip is a past time I have had more respect from motorcycle taxi drivers than many other Thai folk. Salt of the earth they are.

Running around a field while I watched, yes.

Sometimes dogs squat to shit and nothing comes out, to the untrained busy bodies eye this may appear to be an infringement on dog fecal matter by laws.
