Thread: Dissatisfied customer takes no crap at HomePro Pattaya

A bizarre incident occurred at a Home Improvement Store in South Pattaya on Tuesday Night which left a toilet in pieces and an angry customer demanding an exchange for a new one.

Police were called to HomePro at Big C Xtra on the Central Pattaya Road just before 8pm where staff were in negotiations with Khun Tanagorn aged 52, who decided to smash an already broken toilet on the shop floor after he was refused an exchange for a new one.

He had taken two toilets to the shop, which he had recently purchased for 2,890 Baht each and stated that both were faulty. Staff happily exchanged one of them for a new one but refused an exchange for the second as it was covered in cement. This angered Khun Tanagorn to the point where he smashed the toilet on the floor close to the entrance.

After further negotiations, the Store Manager decided he would exchange the smashed toilet for a new one, despite going against the store’s exchange policy as baffled members of staff looked on in disbelief.

That shop is great- 10 mirrors and looking at them for some time, 'assistant' hovering as usual. We'll have this one then- no hab, ok this other one then- no hab. Of course you feel like saying why didn't you tell us no hab while we have been looking, but there's no point.
What hab you got then out of these 10 mirrors? turns out only 2 and only one of the one we finally get to choose. Takes her 10 minutes to find it, no wonder our branch just closed they were always out of stock with everything.

Police are looking into it, but don't have any evidence to go on.

Lucky he didn't take a stool and dump it on the floor as well!

And of course lots have Thais will have noticed the success of this particular tantrum.

When I first saw the thread headline I just assumed that the offender in the story was Farang....

I wonder how one of us stinky farangs would of fared after smashing that shitter.

No new one I reckon and a trip down the Cop shop to boot.

The second toilet had cement on it, dry crusty cement , that does not warrant an exchange.
