Thread: Norwegian Shoots Friend then Turns Gun on Himself in Phetchaburi

PHETCHA BURI – A 59-year-old Norwegian has shot and killed his 55 year-old friend and then turned the gun and shot himself in the face during an argument during a game of darts at a restaurant in Cha-am beach resort town on Thursday night, police said.



According to the Thai Rath, police were called to the scene about 8.20pm, where they found the two men lying in pools of blood on the ground in front of Lek Switzerland restaurant on Cha-am-Khlong Thian Road in Cha-am district, Phetchaburi province, Pol Lt Col Yutthana Rattanaphan, a duty officer at Cha-am police station, said on Friday.

The 54-year-old Norwegian man Lars Arne Fjeldsbo, had a gunshot wound to his right cheekbone. A 9mm pistol was found near him on the ground.



Fellow Norwegian Stine Somchai Husoy,55, was found near him with gunshot wounds to his stomach and back of his head. Both were rushed to Cha-am Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to police investigators, witnesses said four foreigners, including the two Norwegians, had dined together at the restaurant on Thursday night.

Afterwards, the two men left the table to play darts. During the game, an argument erupted and the angry 59-year-old pulled out a pistol and shot his friend twice. He then shot himself in the face.

Police were investigating.

Partly so, but I'm going with the danger of the "sport" they're playing...

Fooking darts can be fun, but when it turns nasty, contact can be a motherfcker...

I remember one guy, for a lark, used to unscrew the metal tip from the dart, wait his chance, and throw the feathered flight straight at a guy for a joke...It looks just like a whole dart coming at you...

Anyway, RIP...And some clown will wake up with a sick hangover...
