Glad they've caught him, but the skull of the supposed victim is so decomposed after just 1 week? Doesn't add up.

I know what you are saying, but i hardly think their record on this case has been exemplary. He nicked an under 15 and got a very light sentence before going on to rape at least 10 children, killing an untold number of them.

If he was in the UK he would most likely be looking at a presenters job on a kid's TV gameshow and an OBE, minimum.

there are certain offences, and offences involving violence against the weak, the elderly and the very young belong in that category, for which a whole life sentence or the death penalty can be the only punishment.
People like that deserve one "LAST CHANCE" !

He's a child rapist and murderer. Not sure he knows what the right thing is. And if you'd put him in a room with a gun or needle, I would hope you'd volunteer to be the first one into that room after him - I certainly wouldn't risk it.

Seen him on the news today, outside re enacting the crime .
Wearing a crash helmet and a bullet proof vest and surrounded by security .
There was a large mob trying to get at him , some of the mob got to him and attacked him .

It's a little more than a week, from 06.12 till 15.12. There are docus on youtube on how long it takes for wild life to decay completely after death, one of a large hippo, one of an adult elephant if memory serves right. About a week in both cases.

    ^What is that about?

Hollow and embarrassing caricature of remorse. Crimes of this nature are beyond the relevance of such feeble acts of 'face'-saving forgiveness begging.

Also, coming so soon after the news has been published and horrified the public makes the lame attempt seem absurd.

I don't know how the parents just managed to sit there, so close to him. Cultural expectation? The presence of the media? I know I would have been across that gap in a split second.

There must be a way for the parents to be able to obtain revenge, give them the satisfaction of pulling on switch that sends a few hundred volts thru his Genitals, until hes dead.

Why should filth like this continue to live?

A more satisfying result for civilisation might be to not allow such filth to be released upon society to ply their wares again and again.....

I know when it comes to stories like this it is de rigeur to say what you would do/have done to the nonce in question, but I could quite happily kill him with my bare hands and would not feel a moment of remorse.

I'm with you on that Neep. In fact it slightly disturbs me that I would enjoy hearing him gasp his last breath

    RIP Cartoon.

The alleged attacker, known as Nui, had only last August been released from jail in Nong Khai north eastern Thailand after serving just three years and eight months for the abduction of a child under 15 years.
it was more than an abduction, he strangled the child, attempted to rape her and left her for dead, and he only did three and a half years jail time.
compare that with another story in todays bangkok post about a couple caught illegally picking mushrooms in a national park.

Netizens are campaigning to help a husband and wife sentenced to 15 years in prison after picking mushrooms in a national forest reserve in Kalasin. On July 12, 2010, Udom Siri-on, 51, and his wife Daeng...

The self-righteous already presented their ideas on how to punish him. Sorry gentlemen, the relatives of the victims can't execute him, that would be sharia and we don't want that. Best to leave it to Thailand's law system, they have the death penalty, and he most likely will get it. And if they release him tomorrow, we can at least shake our heads again.

Bangkok 'child sex killer' claims to have kidnapped nine others
    Andrew Drummond
    17 December 2013

Chilling CCTV: A man leads Attitaya Pechdon away

A man who confessed to the sex murder of a six-year-old girl in Bangkok also claims to have kidnapped and raped nine other children, four of whom he says he killed.

CCTV of Attitaya Pechdon being led away by a man before she was raped and strangled led to comparisons with the James Bulger case in Britain when two 10-year-old boys were filmed leading the toddler to his death.

Attitaya had been sleeping in her father’s lorry when she was lured outside.

Police in the Thai capital are trying to check the man’s claims to the other crimes after his arrest in the north-east province of Nong Khai. Known only as Nui because he was orphaned at birth, the man in his forties was a roadie for Thai folk group Mai Thai Hui Jai Silp.

Attitaya’s father had put her in his lorry to sleep while he watched the band in Bangkok on December 6. He returned later to find her missing and raised the alarm.

The man who confessed to Attitaya’s murder was wearing one of the group’s T-shirts as he led the girl away. It is believed he promised her sweets before leading her to a deserted area.

Police have sought details of the group’s recent tours and it is believed that they have been to most provinces of Thailand. Since the arrest, the parents of two young girls have reported their daughters missing to the police murder headquarters in Bangkok.

Paraded at a press conference, Nui said: “Apologies to the parents. I didn’t mean to do what I did.”

Nui’s chilling confessions may seem far-fetched and police believe it is possible he could be a serial confessor but they are taking his claims seriously.

Due to a lack of resources Thai police often do little more than log the cases of missing children who are frequently abducted to be used as pickpockets.

Bones found in Loei linked to confessed serial child-killer
    December 18, 2013

Police have found several bones at an uninhabited spot in Loei where a confessed serial rapist and murderer allegedly attacked and strangled a girl earlier this year.

DNA tests will be conducted to determine if the bones belonged to a 4-year-old girl who went missing on February 5.

The search for the bones in Loei started earlier this week after a man, known only as Nui, was arrested for allegedly raping and killing a 6-year-old girl in Bangkok on December 6.

the accused man was abandoned by his parents and brought up in an orphanage and has spent most of his life living on the street. it is more than likely that he was abused and suffered greatly as a child.
