Thread: American Hacked to death with Samurai Sword by Taxi Driver.

Along Sukhumvit 2 days ago.

There was a dispute over the fare, after which he was walking away, then the Thai taxi driver attacked him and hacked him to death with a Samurai sword.

The taxi driver has been apprehended by the police and is in police custody.

RIP, Troy.

So it looks like the taxi driver was cheating the guy with a rigged meter then hacked him to death when he complained. Not really a fair comparison to Islamic extremists is it?

Has the driver been caught yet? oh he has, just been on ch 3, claims the passenger did not pay the fare, seems to think that's justification for murder!

I thought samurai swords were a bit longer than that ?

where did you read that? no mention of meters or money.

the newpaper link in the first post clearly reports that the police dont know what caused the argument.

witnesses said that the american exited the taxi and walked away, the monkey came after him, there was a verbal argument and the american walked off, the ape went back to the cab and got a machete and started to attack the american who tried to grab the weapon.

the american worked for the caterpillar company in prakhanong, tractors and backhoes.

you really take your life in your hands when getting into a taxi in this country, especially at night. plenty of very disturbed individuals drive those cabs.

Looks like they both took the law into their own hands. I'm not saying the yank deserved it but he really should have paid the price and recorded the taxi number. Looks like he made the mistake of trying to take the guy on as well from that video.

he did not refuse the fare, the driver wanted way too much for driving him a few blocks. My brother said no. He would pay the regular fare and got out of the cab and the piece of shit taxi driver went after him
