Russian falls to death in Pattaya
Published: 6 Jul 2013 at 14.37Online news:

A Russian tourist plunged to his death from the sixth floor of a department store in Pattaya on Friday evening.

The incident took place around 7.30pm at the CentralFestival Pattaya Beach department store, according to a report in ASTV Manager online.

Pattaya police who were called to the scene found the Russian man lying dead at the ground floor with broken limbs. They later moved the body to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

An initial investigation revealed that the man had been walking with two Russian friends at the store. He then walked onto a balcony on the sixth and plunged to his death.

His friends were still in shock and could not give many details.

The police said they would review the CCTV records to see if the images would shed any more light on the incident.
