Underage Sex Workers found at Jomtien Beer Bar

Two 16 year old girls were detained along with the manager of a Beer Bar at a popular Jomtien Beer Bar Complex in the early hours of Friday by Police.

Officers from the Police Region 2 Child and Women Protection Unit conducted an undercover operation at the Bar located within the complex next to the Lompor Market on Jomtien Second Road opposite Soi 5.

Using a foreign operative who was armed with 6,000 Baht in marked bank notes, he was able to purchase the sexual services of a 16 year old girl. The undercover agent paid 2,000 Baht to the bar, a further 2,000 Baht to the girl and the other 2,000 Baht was used to purchase drinks at the bar. As soon as the money was handed over officers approached the bar and detained the girl along with a 17 year old bar worker and the bar manager Khun Manirat aged 34. She claimed to only be the cashier and the owner of the bar was in Bangkok on business.

Legal proceedings are now underway and the two girls remain in the care of district welfare officers pending contact with their parents.

I'll never forget walking along Sukhumvit Road, BKK late at night and being "offered" what looked like a 10 year old girl by a much older (20s) female..

Fucking sick and weird...

What freaked me out the most was a old 40ish looking farang bloke drinking a Mcdonalds shake mooching around the scene obviously interested himself
