![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | British ex-pat and Thai Wife report poor service from Pattaya Police British ex-pat and Thai Wife report poor service from Pattaya Police | Pattaya One - Pattaya News, Thailand News, World News, updated 24 hours a day British ex-pat and Thai Wife report poor service from Pattaya Police Posted on January 19, 2013 at 4:49 pm A British man and his Thai wife complained to journalists outside of Pattaya Police Station early on Saturday Morning about a case of assault they had tried to report to Police who appeared disinterested to investigate until it was medically proven the injury was recent and consistent with a punch to the face. Khun Rajindar aged 43 spoke on behalf of her husband Mr. James Ernest Russell of the same age and explained that earlier in the night the pair had parked outside of the MacDonalds Restaurant on Pattaya Second Road in front of the Avenue Complex when a Thai man and woman pulled up beside them. The woman approached Mr. Russell and seconds later, as if she was distracting Mr. Russell, the Thai man threw a punch to the side of Mr. Russell’s face. The pair then drove off. Before the victim and his wife went to Pattaya Police Station they obtained CCTV images from the MacDonald’s store which showed the incident take place and provided Police with the license plate of the attackers motorbike. Police told the pair to first go to Hospital for a medical examination to confirm the injuries were sustained recently and were caused by a punch to the face. This infuriated the pair who wanted Police to search for the attacker without delay. Mr. Russell told us that he will likely report the incident to the British Embassy in Bangkok to see if they can do anything to help. Khun Rajindar revealed that Mr. Russell has many businesses in Pattaya and should have been treated much better than he was. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | He pulled up at the police station on a motorbike with a sex-worker wife in tow. Of course the police aren't going to take his complaint seriously - he's a nobody. And, I've never heard of the police ever taking a complaint of minor assault seriously anyway. The police don't wish to become involved in personal disputes. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Had a thai complained about a minor assault by a foreigner, then the police would have mobilised half the force in order to carry out a highly publicised search, arrest and press conference. The fat brit and his mouthy bint probably deserved the aggravation, but thats not really the point. |
