    Yeah, what a 'man'.
Did not say he was a fine citizen, but he's less repulsive than if he did the above with 3 friends helping.

What a load of bollocks. They guy was clearly a complete thug with alcohol and violence issues - moral relativism doesn't come into it.

You don't even know what happened to instigate all of this yet are casting him as some sort of hero to the "monkey" villains of the piece. Now that says plenty about you.

Oh yeah, there was no clue in this chav's past at all that would have indicated this kind of violent tendency:

Patrick Molloy, 28, of St Mary’s Square, Newmarket, punched victim Charlie Jones in the face outside the rear gates of Unique, in Kingston Passage, causing him to fall to the floor, a court heard.
“He has been in and out of trouble and in and out of prison on numerous occasions. Clearly, he has got issues in relation to how he deals with face-to-face confrontations, especially with other men.”
I assume you're gonna propose him for sainthood, next?

    Yeah, what a 'man'.
Always consider the source - namely the kind of, most likely, equally prone to be drunkards and getting into drunk fights. Just recall the kind of 'stand-up, fine folk' that stood up and defended the actions of Sean Henry Tinsley after he took a tire iron to Adam Pickles' head, unprovoked. Same type of folks are now defending this dead bloke.

I'm not a big fan of keyboard warriors, but at least their 'victims' don't end up in hospital getting stitches or being treated for internal bleeding.

Fair fight you say? It's not the Marqui of Queensberry, but if it was, you seem to have forgotten that a lad weighing 60 pounds more than his opponent wouldn't be a fair fight.

As said Im not defending or putting this man down.

However he wont be the first or the last farlang to get into a fight in Pattaya.

It happens man,Farlang fighting each other or in this case with the locals.

Before any one pipes up and says they have never found them self in this situation, there,s always first time.
Most gents of a certain mind set avoid volience like the clapp but you can be draw into things that can escalate very quickly.

Shut up you weapon , Morons because maybe they didn't want to get shot . FKing remarkable that a freak that supports murder will then call people morons for trying not to get murdered . Or is it that you trust the word of the Thai gang because the victims don't want to talk due to poss reprisals ?
    You are such a tool.
Who is the tool? Did anyone mention a "gang"? Maybe it was just a bunch of happy Thais on holiday?

I'm with Socal. Man with a history of bullying comes to a foreign country, where the jungle telegraph is better, picks a fight with two of three locals and finds himself being chased by a whole lot more. Decides to run away rather than take what was coming to him, jumps into the water knowing he is not a very good swimmer and drowns. Darwinism at its best.

I empathize with his father, who probably knew something like this would happen one day.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

Notorious Cambridge thug jailed after armed police called to scene of attack

    James Wilks

A notorious violent thug has been jailed for knocking his victim’s teeth out with a single punch.
James Wilks, 29, flew into a rage after turning up at his girlfriend’s house in Bullen Close, Cambridge, and finding her entertaining a man she had met online.
Victim Richard Gibbons had driven to the woman’s house believing she was single.
Wilks has a history of offences in the Cambridge area, attacking men he doesn’t know.
He broke down the door and punched Mr Gibbons so hard in the mouth that three of his teeth were knocked out, Cambridge Crown Court heard.
Armed police were called to the scene.
Sally Hickling, prosecuting, said: “This very unpleasant incident took place in August, when Mr Gibbons, 28, met up with a woman he met on a social networking site. He had met up with her before, and believed her to be single.
“They were sat in her lounge having a drink when there was a loud banging on the door and she told him to hide.
“The victim could tell something was wrong but had no idea what was about to happen.
Armed police attended the incident. Picture: images-uk.com

“He had locked himself in the bathroom when Mr Wilks came into the house, knocked down the door and punched Mr Gibbons once in the face with such force that three of his front teeth fell out.
“The victim was left pouring with blood and searching for his lost teeth on the floor.”
The court was told Wilks, whose address was given as HMP Peterborough, has a history of violent offences including an incident in which one of his victims ended up being put on life support.
He pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm to Mr Gibbons.
Kentiana Mahmutaj, mitigating, said: “He is very remorseful for his actions, and is now realising he is getting too old to continue on this path. After his sentence is served, he just wants to get back to a normal life.”
Miss Recorder Heather Rogers said: “The victim’s life will never be the same again.
“I hope you take this opportunity to resolve your serious violence issues.”
She sentenced Wilks to a year in jail, taking into account the 87 days he had already served on remand.

    Brothers jailed for revenge beatings

john.downing@cambridge-news.co.uk TWO brothers have been jailed for vicious attacks in which a disabled man was beaten up.

Norwich Crown Court heard the attacks by Jon and James Wilks were designed to preserve the former's reputation as "a violent man".

Jon Wilks, 36, of High Street, Cherry Hinton, admitted unlawfully wounding Mark Palmer on August 7 last year.

He admitted perverting the course of justice by trying to bribe his victim not to give evidence.

And he admitted affray on July 24 last year when disabled man Thomas Calvey was beaten up.

Stephen Spence, prosecuting, said the "planned revenge attacks" were on people who had entered Jon Wilks's home.

He said: "The attacks were well executed and well planned. They were carried out to preserve Jon Wilks's reputation as a violent man."

James Wilks, 26, of Belling Close, Cherry Hinton, admitted unlawful wounding.

The court heard Mr Calvey, who was using a crutch, was at a bus stop in Cherry Hinton Road when Jon Wilks punched and kicked him repeatedly, despite his pleas for them to stop.

The brothers attacked Mr Palmer, who offered to fight them individually, with punches and kicks, and Jon Wilks used a baseball bat.

Mr Palmer suffered cuts to his head and forearm.

After their arrest, Mr Spence said Jon Wilks tried to "buy off" Mr Palmer but the phone calls from Peterborough prison were taped.

Michael Hall, for Jon Wilks, said Mr Palmer bullied his client and his father and he acted out of fear.

Mark Kelling, for James Wilks, said he punched and kicked Mr Palmer but did not use a weapon.

Jon Wilks was jailed for 33 months for unlawful wounding, 10 months for affray and eight months for perverting the course of justice, all to run consecutively.

His brother was jailed for 20 months for unlawful wounding and 10 months for breaching a previous suspended sentence, to run consecutively.

Judge Simon Barham said: "A number of men went into Jon Wilks' house and he decided to take revenge on Mr Calvey and Mr Palmer.

"The police became aware and told you to make a formal complaint. There was no excuse to take the law into you own hands."

In which case, these idiots deserve exactly wht they get - including death or fractured skulls. These lovely lads were on holiday celebrating their release from prison, having spent 9 months incarcerated for violent crimes of starting fights (sound familiar?) nd beating the other person once they we down (hmm...?), and it doesn't tke much to figure out that these idiots tempted the same thing in Pattaya, thinking the smallish locals would be intimidated by the tough camrbridgeshire boys - yet, when suddenly a bunch of Thais came together (most likely what happened), these lovable rogues turned out not to be so tough anymore, and decided to run.

Sadly, swimming while intoxicated is usually a death sentence. The adrenaline from their flight probably saved the other two.

So these charming "lads" come over to pattaya, drink all night probably with some yaa baa to help them kick on, they stumble out into the early morning streets most likely singing some chavish football chant, upset the local people going about their business have a confrontation, the locals numbers swell alarmingly and they end up running off the end of a peir like a bunch of queers to escape.

The remaining two should just go back home and stick to beating up disabled people.

I hope the police fleece them first of their remaining welfare check money.
