DD, YOU are the the owner of this forum or whatever you call it and you lay the rules down, I just think that it's in bad taste to show these PEOPLE in this position without any consideration of them.

Hell, what's worng with "PINK BITS" as long as their LIVING people? These PEOPLE have not had any consideration given to them, is this not wrong to show them partially nude on a public forum when DEAD? What crime have THEY done to YOU or anyone else and can ANYONE here confirm that they were ANyTHING else but just tourist?

Some of you guys go on and on about how distasteful the Thai news is for showing the pics of rape victims or people that have been murdered but when I say that I think it in bad taste to show the faces of 2 Russian women killed you guys jump all over me.

What would you (milkman and DD ) think if someone posted pics of your family after they had been mudered? At least hide their faces is all I'm saying, if for nothing else than respect for the dead and their families.

If that is the case we haven't heard the last of it, because the Russians are as rough and tumble as they come and don't care a toss what happens to those in the middle once expenses are covered. Kill two and they'll send over another 20.

One seemingly rational solution is for the Thai authorities to enforce their own rules which prohibit foreigners from working in the biz. If as likely they fail to do so, it'll be because today's bunce is more important to them than the income lost when foreigners start giving Pattaya a miss.

The bar next to Polo that has Russian girls plying their trade from a corner window is just one of many examples of the law being openly flouted, though of course this is not evidence that the bibs have a stake.

well, this was to be expected after Thailand granted again VoA for Russians citizens. We went through that in the late 90s when Pattaya was full of Russian hookers. One day the local mafia really got pissed, killed a few, and next thing you knew, they were all gone the next morning. Incidently, Visa for Russians were put in place again shortly after.

It's a stupid idea to let those Russian fucks go anywhere. They are banned in most countries and for good reasons. All they will accomplish at the end is a complete travel ban and they will be back to their native Russia without possibility to leave their country like old times.

I visited a family staying at the most expensive wing of the Royal Cliff recently, and the place was half full of Russians, spending good money.
Not all Russians here are p4p by any means.

Two Russian women shot dead in Jomtien

Two female Russian tourists were found shot dead early yesterday morning on Jomtien beach in the seaside resort town of Pattaya.

Tatiana Tsimfer, 30, and Liubov Svirkova, 25, were found dead in their beach chairs at about 5am, along with five spent 9mm cartridges, said Colonel Sutin Trappuang, superintendent of the Pattaya police station.

Footprints from canvas shoes left at the scene were believed to belong to the attacker, he said, adding that the autopsies would be carried out in Bangkok.

A security guard at a nearby resort told police he heard several gunshots and saw a Thai man in his 20s run from the beach and speed away on a motorcycle. The guard rushed to the beach and found the two bodies.

Lt-General Asawin Kwanmuang, commissioner of Provincial Police Region 2, declined to speculate on the motive, but said the killer apparently did not want to rob the victims but to take their lives.

Police dispatched 12 special units to trace the victims' final hours.

Since both still had their makeup on, they might have visited night entertainment spots, so police also called in potential witnesses from South Pattaya's famous Walking Street zone.

Police also suspect the attacker might have been stalking the women to the murder scene, he said.

The two women arrived on February 16 as part of a tour group with four other women and

were scheduled to leave next Saturday.

The victims' four friends, who were away on a trip to Kanchanaburi, will soon be summoned to determine whether there were any conflicts that could be a possible motive, he said.
Pattaya, about 110 kilometres southeast of Bangkok, is known for its beaches, thriving sex industry and high crime rate.
