Alai na? Farang khi nok
Alai na? Farang khi nok
Thaksin is a scummy theif, all his family are cunts.
Giving free doughnuts proves this.
^Not really. Much of thaksins success has come down to two innovations that he made to thai politics. the first was to negotiate with potential coalition partners prior to an election and co-opt them into his party.
And the other was to extend his patronage network down to the grass roots, this at the core of the donut give away.... Its important that the boss is seen to care about his minions and its important for his minions to make sure that the boss sees them doing good things for him. This event will play well with the constituency that the message is aimed at and really does what anyone else thinks matters?
Very much like to hear more of your intelligent analysis. Or not. I give you a tip though. In what was said here before your post - not brought up by me. Say "ich bin farang khi nok, merde" to next motorbike taxi driver and you will have a hell of a ride. Though if you said you are "w*nkr eurosh*te they would not take you to hospital, perhaps rightly so.
You see this as an serious political issue? Really? Then join Albert Nasty wnkr euroshte.Originally Posted by hazz

Nostromo, even by your standards you are utterly wacked out this weekend. Ive come across hardened meth heads who make more sense. What ever your on, if its legal..... you could make a fortune selling it.
Better remove that anti-eurosh#te post.

He's giving away donuts, ffs. Yeh, sure, a cheap popularity stunt. So, like, what's the problem- is he making the rest of them look stingy or something? Our local Democrats gave away cheap quilts, much appreciated by our canines.
Its not the donuts, you PAD yellow nutter numpties, that are important, its the PR symbolism .
The great history making, Worls International statesman, four times democratically elected Prime Minister of Thailand symbolically caring for his landslide voters.
You can't argue with that
Great PR symbolism- a fried fast food, symbolic of the USA. Why didn't he give out dim sum instead?
Same like Kennedy, John F., who claimed to be a German doughnut?

I tell you why , have you seen how long a donut survives here in a plastic wrapper in 34 degree heat in a mom and pop store in nakhon sawan?Originally Posted by sabang

Nothing wrong with Priewpan visiting Thaksin : Chalerm

Priewpan
Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung yesterday defended the national police chief's visit to Hong Kong to meet fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Pol Gen Priewpan Damapong reportedly made a one-day trip to Hong Kong on Tuesday to wish his former brother-in-law a happy birthday.
Chalerm said the police chief had done nothing wrong and that he would not penalise Priewpan for not arresting Thaksin because Thai laws cannot be enforced in foreign countries.
"I think it was appropriate [for Priewpan]," Chalerm said. "Besides, he has no jurisdiction to arrest anyone outside Thailand."
Priewpan had permission for a leave of absence to travel to Hong Kong, Chalerm said.
"Instead of punishing him, I intend to ask what he and Thaksin talked about," he said, alluding to speculation that Thaksin's ex-wife Khunying Pojaman na Pombejara is pushing for her brother Priewpan to join the Cabinet following his retirement in September.
In fact, Chalerm said he doubted that Priewpan actually met with Thaksin, alluding to his own trip to Hong Kong last week, during which he insists he did not meet Thaksin.
In a related development, Priewpan's designated successor General Adul Sangsingkaew dismissed speculation that he too had met Thakisn.
"I did not go to Hong Kong," Adul said, speaking at Government House on the sidelines of a meeting on drug suppression chaired by Chalerm.

That is why we need BBC, CNN, CBC, etc. those news organizations clearly bought by Thaksin
Well, I was a bit unfair too in my replies. Sorry about that. (to Hazz too)
I do have my opinions why times after 1997 constitution, and why Thaksin's time was good for Thailand. Good things outweigh bad things by far IMHO. That all ended with military coup. I do not know why everyone ends up with different conclusions, if everyone knows the facts (having lived in the country?).
That is why I see thread like this, about this donuts issue - totally unimportant and meaningless - to be purely about giving certain people a chance to post their hate for certain people and/or a person.
But it is all right, this is all for entertainment purposes anyways and in democracy everyone can have their say. But if you were under PAD New Politics party rule... think about it for 3 secs while remembering Pol Pot.
^No worries.
Personally, while I'll slate Thaksin, doesn't make me in the slightest a yellow shirt. ALL politicians seem to be self serving and deceitful. Look at the expenses scandal in UK. Hundreds of rich politicians stabbing the people in the back while smiling. No different.
When I first came to Thailand the upfront brazenness of Thaksin impressed me. He called a spade a spade and was definately a business power house generator for the country. However, over the many years I've been here I garner that he is no different than any of the players at his level (from any party) They think they are gods almost. Look at chalerm now with his son. This is a sad indication of the countrys mind set. How could the guy even consider this, have the balls to take the piss like this? HE simply thinks he's god and can do as he pleases.
Back to Thaksin though, there is only one (very major obviously) thing (the killing of the 2500) that for me means he should be in prison. Yet it seems he will be back and it will be business as usual.
Myself I don't care too much, but I hope that the Thai people get a better grip on their own destinies and stop letting these demons run their country.
