90 day reporting what do I need please

My marriage visa 90 day reporting is due this week.

This is just the 90 reporting so I need to fill out the TM7. Do need any more photos? I'm sure a few copys of the passport too. I understand the wife does not have to go to this one.

    1.fill out TM7
    2. photos?
    3. Anything else? The 90 day reporting is the easy part.

    I'm in CM.

    Thanks guys!

All I do is go to Imm 90 day reporting desk, usually manned by some part time uni students, try and chat them up, give then my passport, they scribble some stuff on a paper which they then staple in my passport, leave office.
    Job done.
    could be different elsewhere.

Normally just fill out the form at the Immigration office and hand it over together with the passport. No photos required, it is just a confirmation of an adress in Thailand. After waiting a shot while, you shall have your passport back with a little slip with the date of next reporting - 90 days ahead - stappled inside.

I would have thought you would have investigated this situation months ago.

Just tell you secretary to do it. Mine does a great job. My last secretary did a terrible job and in the end the secretary called me out to do it my self!

She got the sack pretty quick.

I was sat at the desk and the immigration officer said

"Why have you not been reporting every ninety days?"

To my surprise the secutary then turned to me and said, "Yes TFP, Why have you not been reporting every ninety days?"

I couldn't believe it, the cheeky fucking biatch had been taking my money every month to do it but had been doing something else. And when she looked at me to back up the imigration officer I felt like knocking her lights out.

Moral of the story is: Get someone else to do it for you but make sure they're not a retard.

To which I just flipped and said "Because that's part of your fcuking job!

I always find I get a better turn around time by being polite, clean shaven and not smelling of alcohol. Mostly.

what exactly is a "marriage visa"?

and if you leave the country do you need to get an exit visa?

I am asking as I get a 1 year multi-entry visa (non imm O) but have to go out of the country every 90 days

I guess he means an Extension based on marriage.

Only one visa gets you a stay for more than 90 days and that's a retirement visa

Tend to agree that if you are not going to stay in the country for more then 90 days at a time, the extension, based on marriage or retirement, is hardly worth it. It is not much different then avoiding the 90 day address report by leaving within 90 days every time.

Perhaps the only advantage would not to have to get a new visa in some Embassy outside Thailand each year. You would just have to go to immigration and get a new extension once a year.

The benefits of the extension are obviously marginal, if at all, for some.

Lawyer says no need, only the poor, peasants & back packers need to do this.

If you leave every three months of so this is fine. But if you live here and pay taxes and renew a yearly visa you are gonna get nailed. Will the lawyer pay for ya?

There is one benefit to 90 day reporting as opposed to leaving every 90 days.
Fewer entries in your passport, and no need to renew or pay to have new pages added.
