| You could go by car but thats more expensive with regards to fuel plus I dont have a car so that means hiring one. I think there are other routes poss Petch to Khon Kaen then to Nong Khai by bus. Trains are few and far between round this way. |

| Nice thread there Melvbot. Yes, the visa run can be a bit of a slog. I like to do the early morning bus thing and spend the night in Laos. Last time, we took the long way around, to get there, and the short way back. Nice pictures BTW, well done. |

| Nah, I left him to go about his ant like business, they wern't biters so the wife said. She did have her eye on a couple of his mates but we'd just eaten so it was his lucky day |
