If you have to do visa runs all the time, and you are returning again. Keep the money in an envelope until next you return, saves losing money on the change overs.

| Yeah, go buy the French wine at the Duty Free post, extremely cheap, you can buy 5 or 6 no problem, the Thai customs don't care as long as it's properly hidden to save face Take the nice expensive ones, with names like Pino, Bordeaux, Sauvignon, make sure they all have "AOC" somewhere on the label, this is very important. Total cost would be maybe 2500 THB for 6 bottles, but you can easily sell them back to Blake7 for 3500 THB |

| I used Kip at the duty free shops by the bridge last week. The only problem was the shops had trouble finding change. They deal mainly in Baht and US$. For cigs. scotch and DVDs prices are lower at the Lao markets in Vientiane. Cigs - 100B per carton. (Class 'A' Blue made in Vientiane) Teachers scotch - US$6 per litre. Movie (copies) DVDs - 3 for 100B. |

TEACHER'S HIGHLAND CREAM BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY Nose: The subtle notes of bittersweet chocolate, dark toffee, and bacon fat sneak up on you only after a couple of minutes of air exposure. One of the more complex and elegant bouquets in Scotch blends. Buttery, oily, luscious. Palate: The sweet, wine-like, sherry imprint taste of the Glendronach Distillery malts is all over this poised, chewy thoroughbred. Finish: Long. Oloroso sherry sweet and almost prune-like. Satiny. I think of the muscular, sinew, peaty side of Speyside malts. Comment: Cream is the appropriate moniker. Smoky, robust, vibrant.

| Funnily enough I have just finished off a bottle of Teachers- maybe 15 years since I've had it and I'd forgotten how good it was especially when you compare it to both Red and Black Johnnie Walker. |

| In an hour or so, a few of us a meeting Scampy in NK, should be interesting because I am bringing Sandra. I wonder if Scampy will break down in tears at the mention of her name, blubbering and wanting to spill the whole story again. Sure hope not but will see I guess. |
