Quite a few rumours running around on this one.
I met an immigration official at a party on Friday who told me there was no more border bounces and that I would have to stay in Malaysia for 2 days if I wanted to do a chop.
It doesn't really affect me but my Non-O has expired and I'm in on a visa exemption but will be here 35 days before going back to Korea.
The border is only an hour away from the immigration office in Hat Yai so I'd rather do a border hop than pay for an extension or I can just go back to work 5 days early and coin some overtime.
Anyway, that's not the issue.
I'd like to hear from anyone that's done a bounce recently or simply know what the rules are at the moment?
All I found online was a link to TV and it would have been too degrading to click on it.
Cheers,
Dirk.
