ALERT, same day visa service in Savannakhet!

Hi all, I'm currently in Sav, and expected to pick up my passport tomorrow. At the window is a new notice stating that passports submitted in the morning can be picked up at 3:30 the same day. I submitted this morning at about 9:30, and I've got it back already!

That should be noted, David - as there is a great difference between the two.

As far as I know the price for a year long multi-entry, Non-Immigrant Type-O is 5000baht.

While it's been a fair number of years since I got a 90 day single entry Non-O, it was 2000baht. (which is the same price Bangkok Immigrations charges inside the country to secure one)..

FWIW: Tourist visas are usually 1000baht per entry (so a double entry tourist visa is 2000baht)..

90 days multi entry, meaning it's good for over a year, you just have to cross a border every 3 months, return and get another 90 days.
Price is 5,000 Baht everywhere, but Sav. is the only one in SEA, that I know of, that doesn't want to see a bank book. Jim
