Quick Question - 90 Day reporting.

    Hi Guys,

A pal of mine has moved from Khorat to BKK for a while. He still has his house here etc... but he's asked me whether or not he can do his reporting in Bangkok or not.

I didn't know whether it was possible or if he'd have to register in Bangkok to be able to do it.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks.

I think he should be good to do 90 day reporting in Bangkok.
I was in Bangkok for 2 year & never did 90 day reporting they don't care about it.
I moved to Nakhonpathom & they fine me 2,000b for not doing the 90 day reporting.

Pretty sure you have to do your reporting within the province off the address your reporting you are living at.

Saying that I live in Chonburi and have done my reporting at Jomtien on the odd occassion however usually my work does it for me at one stop in BKK.

Then he should report in Bangkok.
It's the address that you are living at on the day you report that matters.

    Thanks guys

Thetyim - so it doesn't matter if he's registered with a different office in another province then? He just goes with the relevant docs to the new local one?

Explain to them that you have moved and his file will be transferred to Bangkok.
He is then registered in Bangkok.

Obviously he will have to do the reverse if he goes back to Khorat.

It doesn't matter where you are 'registered' but where you're living.

Think of exiting LOS and re-entering - that also counts as 90 day reporting.
