Non Immigrant "B" visa - 1 year multiple entry

Just thought that i should post my recent experience.
I have had a work permit since ariving in Thailand coupled with a "B" visa.
for a while I was able to obtain a 1 year extension of stay due to my company employing a certain number of Thais and my paying myself a salary sufficient to quallify for certain tax payments.

Since closing one company down and opening another this has not been the case. So the last couple of years I have had to travel to KL to apply for a new multple entry "B" visa.

This year I was concerned due to all the talk/rumour/speculation that i might at most get a single entry "B" visa and might even be asked for a police check.

Well recently I went down to Kl again and asked for a multiple entry "B" visa. I gave them all the compay paperwork i could plus passport and work permit and was given a multiple entry visa with very few problems. Took me all of 5 minutes the first day and less the second when picked up.
The only question they asked was the insisted upon a permanent address other than in Thailand.

One final pont for the third consecutive time on reentering Thailand by air I was asked to show my boarding pass. This never used to be the case and often I would throw it away. Not ay more and again they seem insistent upon seeing it based on travellers at other desks

I had this as well. I had already filled in my arrival card (with flight number) before I left England and lost or chucked away the ticket stub before I got to the immigration desk. I got one of the death-stare-mega-bitch officer types and she kept on demanding my boarding pass but eventually settled on accepting my flight itinery instead.

Does anyone have any theories on why this new obsession with boarding passes has come about? Is it to make people feel even more unwelcome? Are desperate 30 day visa runners breaking into SVB arrivals and pretending to have arrived on scheduled flights?
They champion falsehood, support the butcher against the victim, the oppressor against the innocent child. May God mete them the punishment they deserve

That is the only theory i can come up with.
I must admit the last time i had to leave due to the 90 day rule due to pressures of work i ended up flying down to singapore and back same day in order to get the stamp..
There was a 2 hour lay over in Singapore before returning with the same airline same cabin crew who thought i was a bit crazy as they ahd noticed me on the ay down.
Rather than actually fly i was tempted just to turn around after immigration and come back into Thailand but thought better of it. I am glad I spent the 2 hours at Chnagi now

^ Are departing passengers and arriving passengers co-mingled at the new airport, post/pre immigration? I don't believe they were at the old one. That could prove a problem if staying in the terminus area waiting for the return flight.

    K. L. It would have been no problem for example, the way departures and arrivals are co-mingled at the train.

Other than some dildo up the chain told all the minions to start demanding the passes? Surely the death-stare-mega-bitch officers have been programed not to ask quesions by now.

Maddy, I got three possible answers for you. Go ahead and choose the one you like the most.....

    1. Could it, by any chance, be that they want to make themselves look fcuking stupid?

    2. Thai immigration have a dossier on you and your recreation activities with synthetic stimulants and want to make you feel nervous.

    3. Cuz you is black? aiiiight?
