  | I Almost Choked Saw a very funny incident at the Mall today. I'm in the super market when an Asian woman approaches four young Thai women working at one of the free sample stalls. (Why four?) The Asian woman asks, "Poot Angrit dai mai?" The four Thai women simultaneously freeze up and drop their jaws. Not a move among them. The Asian woman asks again, twice. No reply. She finally huffs and walks away. I guess the Thai ladies just couldn't get their feeble brains around the fact that a Thai-looking woman was asking them, in Thai, if they could speak English. I almost choked. |
