Formerly yes, now an experience or a T.E.F.L certificate or a bachelor degree in any field is required.

If you're really interested in it, take a drive there and talk to them. It's the best thing I ever did here. This is my 4th year teaching and I really enjoy it. I don't even need the money, I do it for something to do which has some meaning and purpose.

Teaching in a school that does not have an established program likely means you will be free to find a method that works well for you and your students, an can be much nicer than having to teach in manner you do not like or do not agree with.

I could not live here very long without something worthwhile to do in the daytime. Thai children are children, but they are much more respectful than children in my home country.
