Teaching In Thailand Being a international school teacher in Thailand can be a great career with salaries in the range of $2,500 to $6,000 per month, or you could become a TEFLer teaching English with a salary range of 350-600 pounds per month, although with many teaching jobs it could be worth doing a TEFL course even if no experience is necessary, but will teaching students fulfil your overseas jobs yearnings? Is a English language teaching job something you really want to do? Can you teach English?

Best Thai Schools Info please

My Thai Daughter 10 is currently at an International School---English excellent and will continue to progress. Her Thai reading and writing is seriously lagging behind, wish to consider placing her in a good accademic Thai School as she will need this sort of Education if going on to a good Thai University, she will hopefully want to stay and work in Thailand
Would also welcome comments on the success rate of International Schools gaining entrance to the likes of Chula and Thammassett Universities,

Satit Chula, Triam Udom, Satit Patumwan

Hello,

Chula and Thammasat are filled with students from these 3 schools.
The schools all require an entrance exam after Prathom 6. If your daughter has good English skills and can obtain entrance into one of these schools her prospects for attending Chula or Thammasat would be good indeed.

The best programs at Thai universities are all in English anyway.

That's because there are more good text books in English than in Thai.

Chula or Thammasat both accept kids with 5 good IGSE grades, send her to international school if you can afford it and get her some qualifications that are accepted world wide

Only if you have a very high score on the SAT or entrance test. Both of which would be pretty hard to achieve if you only managed to get 5 GCSEs.
