    Tax refunds

Most professional, subject teachers are entitled to a tax refund for the first two years in Thailand

True. I got a tax refund last year. Received a check via my old employer (sent to that address). It wasn't a whole hell of a lot, but I don't/didn't pay a whole lot of tax. Thing about it was, it could only be cashed/deposited at a Krung Thai Bank or something like that. No matter, as I had an account there. I'm the only person I know (aside from my co-workers at the time) who ever received a tax refund. Anybody else get one?

One of our members specializes in tax returns.
That might even be his website but I thought he charged a percentage.

    Only teachers?

I'd love to get a tax refund, as I don't actually pay any, my deal is netto.

Two teachers I know received about 250k each, which was the tax they paid from Aug 2006 - December 2007.

^ From that amount, sounds like they were proper teachers. Not the usual class of scumbag.
