    It's been there for years anyway.

    Those rating systems are stupid anyway, it's not like they check out each institution.

    If they are judging by the quality of muff alone Chula should be ranked a bit higher.

    I know an alkie unqualified "ajarn" who worked at Chula.

    One day he ran out of socks and wore dirty odd ones out of his laundry basket.

    Ah, but I see no qualifier for top-200 at what exactly.

    Fellatio for grades?

    True. Not like I was hanging around the gates watching him go into work.

    I don't hang around outside universities.

    THEQs uses data regarding Peer academic review, recruiter review, international faculty ratio, international student faculty ratio and citations per faculty for the rankings.

    Three NZ universities in the top-200. Not bad for a nation with only 6 universities.

    Bit odd to see Auckland ranked over Otago though; I'm not sure you'd find many outside of Auckland who'd agree with that (and Aucklanders don't count anyway).

    Actually I got that wrong:

    Auckland;
    Waikato;
    Massey;
    Wellington(Victoria);
    Canterbury;
    Lincoln;
    Canterbury.

    So seven (although Massey and Lincoln offer pretty limited courses).

    ^Nope, none. All those listed are state funded. I think that there's a few private polytechnics and what have you (not sure what the equivalent would be in the US; Community College perhaps?) but those are more vocational focused - offer diplomas as opposed to under-graduate/graduate degrees.

    Well done Thailand I say, for a country which is this far behind this is a huge achievement, Thailand is coming up in the world, it might be slow but it definately has changed alot in the last 20 years.
