I was very lucky and had over 10 years in Banking & Finance, which I loved, but others, such as my sister, thought the dullest thing in the world. Horses for courses.

And if your job requires very little in terms of experience and qualifications, don't even imagine for a second that you should be on an even footing salary-wise with engineers, accountants and the like. Mr Guru himself BKK Phil doesn't even have a degree and he's flabbergasted that educated Thais are making more money than most of his TEFL brethren? Funny. ![]() Last edited by Bexar County Stud : 30-08-2008 at 11:02 AM.

Absolutely stress free job if you are naturally suited to it. Unfortunately a lot, maybe even most, aren't. I wouldn't let half the teachers I work with 'educate' my kids if I had any. I mean, imagine the likes of Smeg having a daily influence on your child... Scary, SCARY thought. Last edited by Chairman Mao : 30-08-2008 at 01:30 PM.
