Teaching In Thailand Teaching in Thailand can be a great career with salaries in the range of $2,500 to $6,000 per month, or you could become a TEFLer with a salary range of 350-500 pounds per month, no experience necessary.

Thai University Costs - For a Thai. Anyone have knowledge on what the general or average costs are for Thais to study at Uni. And the requirements. Back home you need a certain amount of points from yer highschool finals, and then each course requires a minimum amount of points. ie to study medicine etc you need an obscene amount of points, virtually 8 A's, while courses like engineering etc. are about half that so people with mainly B's and C's will have enough points etc etc. What are the requirements here? Are there any requirements or is just for anybody who studied and passed M6 and can pay the entrance fees are able to study? or is there a points system. Obviously there's bottom and top grade uni's, so let's say about the middle grade ones. What are the average entrance (and yearly) fees and requirements for a Thai to study there? Cheers.

For governemnt unis, all students take a standard exam at the end of M6, they then apply for the unis they want and either get accepted or declined bassed on that. Private unis often have their own exams that have to be taken, as do all international programs (SAT's also accepted for these). Costs are around what has been posted already, for low income families student loans are available in government unis.
