Teaching In Thailand Teaching in Thailand can be a great career with salaries in the range of $2,500 to $6,000 per month, or you could become a TEFLer with a salary range of 350-500 pounds per month, no experience necessary.

Cost for schooling at ISB

I'm thinking of working as a mainstream teacher at an international school when my son reaches Year 7. Can anyone recommend good schools both to work for and send my boy? Can someone with experience tell me the total cost per year for schools like ISB (in addition to basic fee)?

I'm a maths/science/IT teacher in Australia (3 years experience) not a TEFLer. What salary should I expect to be able to negotiate?

They used to have their fees on their website.

ISB - International School Bangkok, Thailand | American International School of Bangkok

Somewhere around 1 to 1.5 million a year depending upon the kid's age. Pattana, Shrewsbury or Harrow would be better choices unless you intentionally want to inflict a Seppo accent on your offspring.

Why is it, you can wait an eternity for a bus, only for three to arrive at the same time?

I have clients at ISB so I shall ask for you.

One American School that I know of here gives a 75% discount for the teachers' own children. In fact the contract is so badly worded that the teacher can get 75% discount for any chilldren (s)he introduces.

I wasn't recommending Thai Chinese, just using it as an example of what is possible....
