Teaching In Thailand Being a international school teacher in Thailand can be a great career with salaries in the range of $2,500 to $6,000 per month, or you could become a TEFLer teaching English with a salary range of 350-600 pounds per month, although with many teaching jobs it could be worth doing a TEFL course even if no experience is necessary, but will teaching students fulfil your overseas jobs yearnings? Is a English language teaching job something you really want to do? Can you teach English?

. . . and why are you being so aggressive and arrogant in your posts towards everyone?

And, by the way, I really had no idea what you wrote as your words were meaningless gibberish . . . but then your coherent polemic is just as bad.

(I've not heard of anyone being forced to dip their fingers in the holy water in church . . . )

Now why would you see the need to put this statement in brackets?? Possibly because you and your kin are members of that which did the, ok not physical force, forcing. You do however, give yourself away as a catholic by your discription of that fetid water and 'holy', Ok thats your right as a catholic christian, please allow me my right as a non believer to think of it as it is, dank, old water!

Honestly....it doesn't surprise me at all the Muslims are pissed off. They send their children to school and one of the subjects is Buddhism.

I wouldn't put my kids in a Thai school.

I've never heard of a school that teaches Buddhism. I've heard of Buddhist schools but never heard that at 10:20 buddhism is taught straight after science and just before the cutting up paper flowers lesson.

Anyway, if the decision for not putting your kids into a Thai schools is that they'll be exposed to Buddhism, try a Christian or Muslim school - seems obvious to me

i agree very much with your second sentence, david, but think you are well wrong in the first. of course buddhism is taught as a subject in thai schools. education in thailand is about socialization and that buddhism permeates every aspect of it. better than xianity but not without significant drawbacks in a school setting, imo.

If I moved my 2nd sentence to become my third, would you agree? Logic is not only a Greek problem.

Oh, for those of you who didn't have to suffer through years of Latin, it means That which has been (was) proven. In other words, he proves his lack of intelligence through his writings.

Oh, I give up. Latin is useless.

Does it? Then why call it 'holy water'? Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong, I personally think you may well be wrong! Care to expand of which branch of the faith you follow?
