| Teaching In Thailand Being a international school teacher in Thailand can be a great career with salaries in the range of $2,500 to $6,000 per month, or you could become a TEFLer teaching English with a salary range of 350-600 pounds per month, although with many teaching jobs it could be worth doing a TEFL course even if no experience is necessary, but will teaching students fulfil your overseas jobs yearnings? Is a English language teaching job something you really want to do? Can you teach English? |

Apart from Smeg, is there anyone else here who kk has actually lied to? True, he's always telling me that he has a large knob, and I'm quite sure that's a lie.

| Generally I agree but only 99percent. When deception is involved it seems motivation exposure is in order. Sure, buyer beware but seller must also beware of the risks. Cheers. Nok the Kook |

I thought I was clear? I don't think people should be "outed" UNLESS they are decieving others as in this example, tricking them into buying a TEFL course with false statements most of the providers are well known for. I don't know if it is him and the guy is a public figure, his name being on the advertisements etc.. Only in these cases do I agree with the exposure of the fraud if you want to call it/him that. He's giving advice as if from a consume yet the whole time wanting to sell his course. NokNumbNuts

I hear that you are heading back to Oz soon. Good idea, as Thailand has obviously depleted you of any sanity.

This is NOT a quote from kk, just my abridged interpretation. Apparantly some places do require a TEFL (private language schools like ECC often will tell you, you need one... but it will depend on the person at the MoE). It depends on where, who and what you're teaching. Also if you don't have a degree you'll most likely need one most of the time, again can depend on who, what and where you're teaching. PS. I did see a job at the Ajarn last week which stated, 'Teacher applicants must have a college degree and teacher certification to obtain a Thai teachers license and work permit'. And I'm not lying.
