We recently received a mail shot from a character seeking a teaching post.

I enclose an extract of the message.

The extract was one of if not the best composed parts of this self proclaimed ''professional teachers mail shot he sent us.

We are assuming he is still seeking a position as a 'professional teacher as we felt we had to pass on his offer of his professional talents and expertise.

Guess he might be more qualified than many I've witness from The Philippines, Norway, The Netherlands, Brazil, [and Thai], etc....

Actually, just thinking about it again, if Scottyroo really did recently receive an email that included that text, it's possible that somebody (an African non NES, for example) just copied it from the internet and pasted it into the rest of the text. That would explain the difference in quality between the extract and the remainder.

Well folks your comments got us thinking and the mail address was different to the one shown in the original that we found on a job site. The email had a contact phone number though . We called the number and yes it was a ''native ''speaker on the end of the phone It was a very good ''African native'' speaker of English, he was thrown when we asked for Kevin but then his act kicked in.

Seems as if according to him this Kevin worked with him in the past and left him a sample C.V. which he edited to suit his ends.

We had the last laugh though we told him we were the immigration police and were now coming to arrest him and his mates, you could hear his bowels moving after we told him that.

Reckon that'll stop his game. Still he did give us some 10 minutes of fun though.

Saying that, I'd prolly shit my pants, too, if I heard on the phone that immi was coming to arrest me!
