    Delighted!

After a few years of trying I haves secured teaching post in an international school on the Eastern Seaboard. Anyone any idea of how much tax will come off 95k per month?

Many thanks, married, no kids, non-working spouse. Accepting a substantial pay drop from my current post in China, but lifestyle benefits clearly outweigh that...

Congratulations on hitting the motherload !!

Now to business. I make an excellent cup of tea , with English tea bags ( or coffee if you prefer , just name your preference ) and a wide choice of biscuits. I offer a relaxing ( sorry no sex ) massage at the end of your tefling day and a very cheap laundry service ( 3 items per day ) as well as a shoe shine , transfer to and from home, plus can arrange for sexual relationship with anything with two ( or four ) legs of your choice for an all in monthly figure of 12,000 / month ( excluding price of sexual services arranged ) I cannot budge from this bargain price and only offer it to you as an esteemed TD member. Contact by PM for haggling.

Start thinking of a total tax bill in the order of 200K.

It is greatly affected by any deductions, kids, parents, house mortgage, insurance, pension savings accounts etc- but if you are lacking in those areas (as I am) about 200K per year on 95K per month....or 14 to 16K per month. make sure you are deducted appropriately, or next March is going to be nasty for you...(asuming you work a full year)

Thought the tax would be less. Big decision to move from my current job on almost double salary in China, but the lure of Thailand is strong.
