Teachers, do you let students charge their phones in class?
And if so, why? I'm guessing the electricity used is negligible, although I'd have thought that having a couple of phones charging in every lesson in several classrooms would add up over the course of a year? Is it so the pupils think the teacher is nice and are less rude to them then they are to other teachers? I've come across this in several schools now, and apart from giving the pupils a chance to have their phones out in a lesson, it encourages them to be really rude and resentful of teachers who won't let them do it.
