Continuing the discussion of liberal bias in the MSM, here's an article delineating the Top 100 Most Hated / Reviled by Moonbats titled:

100 Americans The Left Hates Most!

Do you (and you know who you are) have any particular favorites?

Check out what the libbie press said about this: (I note that a few commentators are missing from the Morning Joe clip; if this was a GOPer, they would have crucified him...but noo, he really didn't say anything wrong. Bladdy hypocrites.)

If the example below doesn't confirm in every Moonbat's brain that it is a state-run media w/exception of Fox News...check out this news that President Obama tasked NASA head Bolden, as perhaps his foremost mission, with raising Muslim self-esteem is entirely absent from the New York Times and the Washington Post, as well as the nightly newscasts of ABC, NBC, and CBS. Why? Bill Otis argues, persuasively I think, that it's because this news is potentially devastating to Obama:

"The reason the MSM has the lid on NASA's new "mission" to snuggle up to Islam (in between decapitations and floggings) is that it would be devastating to Obama if it became known. On the surface, the new NASA "mission" seems merely screwball, and thus a small story. But I think it's a good deal more than that. It shows that Obama's thinking is unrecognizable to the average person. It also shows that he's unserious -- frivolous, really -- about something that made a generation of Baby Boomers take pride in their country. How many millions of people sat in their junior high auditoriums and watched the Alan Shepherd and John Glenn launches? How many millions more were up at midnight on July 20, 1969 to watch the first human being, an American, put his foot on the moon?

When the domestic roots of skepticism about America (and sometimes flat-out anti-Americanism) were being laid -- in the 60's assassinations, the Vietnam War, and the exposure of the country's treatment of blacks -- the one thing in which we all took pride was the space program. So for Obama, it's now one thing that needs to be perverted. Making it a dumbed-down PR front for Islam is, in its way, a genius move for this purpose. But as the MSM recognizes by its silence, it's a bridge too far.

A lot of people out there haven't heard of "American exceptionalism," or, if they have, aren't too sure of what it means. But they have a good intuition for it: It is, among other things, but quite importantly, the excitement and pride they felt when America did something the human race had wanted to do since it looked up at the night sky. Space exploration took on added luster for our generation because it was so in keeping with the natural optimism, bravado and energy of our youth.

Under Obama, NASA has ended plans to go back to the moon, or go to Mars (something also underreported). Budgets are tight, you know. Time to hunker down and lower our sights. But we can do Muslim outreach.

This is a window on the kind of thinking Obama does. Were it widely known, it would be devastating: We will put away what has made the country a beacon, and act like the small, repentant ex-bully Obama takes us to be. Thus the rockets get mothballed as The Great Satan starts to make amends by printing comic books celebrating Arab contributions to trigonomety 4000 years ago, or whatever it was.
"You'll be able to keep your own insurance" was the most important political lie of the last year. But NASA's new mission is the most revealing truth. The MSM understands this, which is why it's been so resolute in keeping it out of sight."

^ Truly sad. NASA will be boosting muslim morale and charged to increase interest in math and science with kids by doing tours of antiquated equipment while US astronauts hitchhike rides to outer space with the Ruskies? 55555 Erm, muslim history? And, erm, isn't cool astronaut stuff the reason kids want to be rocket scientists?

I can't see how people can say that the US 'won' the cold war when there are so many people who are still fighting it. These people live in an US and them world. They say you are either with us or against us and in fact apply this to those in and outside US borders. The war is still going on in their minds. They are like the Japanese soldiers up in the caves of the Islands of the Pacific still believing that the war has not ended, trusting no one. They have their bunkers for what they see as eventual or even imminent. The war is on. We are surrounded be sleeper communists, socialists, and terrorists. They certainly are there so keep your guard up. You've got to have faith and believe. God is on our side as he always has been. Keep your guard up. The commies are through the wire. Is your neighbor one? Watch out. Check if he has a gun, bible, and elephant sticker on his car. Make sure he has a radio receiver and keeps in touch with what's going on. We are still at war. The past may be gone but the rightwingers have kept one thing:their eternal state of war.

Oh, is the media biased? Hell, yeah. Fox news is too. That's a fact. The mainstream may be mostly lib; Fox is a far right source. What is the point of arguing about the truth?

^ Ya. If they got rid of the libbies, the People could seal the borders and regulate. How many Russian spies were caught last week? How many Afghans escaped from military training and are still at large? How many suspects are arrested but info is not publicised? Happens in every country; you just don't hear about it.
Hope you got your bunker or your canyon dug.

Jet, When Bush was in he had a Republican controlled congress for 6 of those years. The Republicans could have done whatever they wanted. It would have been easy to do at that time since when 911 happened people wanted to protect the nation. Now you are blaming libs for all the immigration problems? As if the Republicans couldn't have done it themselves when they had a chance.

I'm all for closing the borders. Why didn't they do it when the rightwingers ruled? I can't understand that. Maybe the libs and Repubs are the same.

^ Ya. Bush tried for Imm reform but it didn't happen. I reckon the US should broadcast warnings throughout Mexico about death penalties for illegal entry into the US. If folks still try to cross the border into the US, shoot 'em. Kind of like the drug warnings in SE Asia. Do and die.

Sounds a bit extreme to me. There is a country called Iran where they probably do just that.

The US is definitely out of control but all this blame against Democrats is just unfair. As I mentioned the congress was basically controlled for 6 years under Bush by Republicans and six years prior to that under Clinton by Republicans. So that's 12 years. To throw the blame at one group is just crap. Politicians from all sides have been kissing ass to get votes or to please industry (farming, livestock, etc) when cheap labor was needed. I'm all for closing the border and getting control over the nation but as it is both parties have done poop towards that. I'm not a lib by the way not am I a republican. I don't feel proud to be an American at times because the way things are right now it means nothing to be an American. I mean it's almost better to be a foreigner living in America. At least in countries like Thailand, citizens do have some opportunities/rights over foreigners. In the US, a foreigner almost has more opportunities than a citizen outside of being able to vote. It's meant little to be an American for a few decades now. Just because America is losing its place on the world stage doesn't mean that its people should be devalued as citizens. But it has been happening for quite some time now.

Bill O’Reilly told his audience last night that in light of the false reports on the Arizona immigration law and the fact that the three media networks ignored the New Black Panther polling scandal, that the three media networks were not reporting the truth and their agenda today is to protect President Obama....

No shit...and perhaps it's why the 'usual suspects' aboard here don't have a clue as to what's really going on in America...

^ So, you've actually watched his shows? Wonders do never cease. If not for Fox, the libbies would sweep all this crap under the rug. Lemmeesee, what was the main kicker on CBS nightly news -- ah yes, possible problems with a diabetes drug.

The msm gave a pass to reporting on convicts voting for Franken, the New Black Panther scandal, the fact that Rhode Island has its own immigration law, Michelle Obama's racist speech at the NAACP mtg...every day they ignore things that are important that Fox reports on. That's why Fox tops the ratings; people are sick and tired of being sheepled.

Lessen the gap between rich and poor countries/people, and much illegal migration will decrease as a result. The Mexicans are jumping over the fence for a reason.

It will be interesting to see how this story will be covered by both sides.

"DES MOINES, Iowa — A billboard created by an Iowa tea party group that compares President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin is drawing sharp criticism — even from fellow tea party activists who have condemned it as offensive and a waste of money."

I saw the billboard. They're taking a libbie stance is all, IMO. The left would do the same and have done the same in mood about Bush.

Problem in America is that there aren't any real conservatives there.

If they're on the right they're either religious as well or they're rednecks or polygamists or sun worshippers or some shit like that.

^ Erm, you been outta da loop, SB? Conservatives are definitely not quiet these days.
Please do give us your definition of Cons and right wing.
Are you lumping all right wingers into the extremist camp with those Tea Party folks whom you view as totally shameful?
Ah, SB, we do hope you will wake up to reality one day soon. We do offer enough info for you.

Nah, you're thinking of right wingers. Intellectual conservatives are staying all quiet and bookish, because they don't like the low brow populism of the Teabaggers. I have a feeling they will come more to the fore after the mid term elections though- and hopefully reclaim what is theirs. For now they are classified as 'Rino's' by the usurpers.

One exception is libertarians (although there are damn few of them in real life unfortunately). Fiscal Hawks and foreign policy Doves.

If electoral politics is one's sole criteria, it can be argued that the Obama administration has done too much too fast, in an economic environment where most peoples first concern is financial security. But that is to ignore their campaign promises, and political philosophy. They are delivering on what they promised- but until the economy spews up some job growth, not really to their net benefit at the ballot box.

The Republican party though has shot itself right in the foot, imho. They have tied themselves to declining demographics everywhere ('angry old southern white men', seniors etc), whilst pissing off some of the strongest growing demographics, especially Latino's. It's a path to nowhere, and I think once this Tea party hysteria is assessed rationally- namely that it creates a lot of noise but has the net effect of damaging the GOP at the ballot box, I hope for the sake of the GOP it will die down. There have always been Right wing factions- Religious right, neo-con's, gun nuts etc- that the GOP can safely contain, but them being allowed to come to the fore and set the tone of the Republican party is damn short sighted politics.
