2. De-fund and repeal Obama care
3. Institute a flat tax - so simplistic it could actually work.
4. End Afirmative Action
5. Liquidate Tarp
6. Impose Tarrifs on China
7. Strick down Anchor Babies law
8. Use Profiling to Prevent Terror Attacks. If you know a certain demograhic of the populace is responsible for a majority of crimes why wouldn't you profile that demographic?
9. Run the USA like a Business and not an Empire.....
10. Eliminate useless government programs.

btw.. can anyone think of any enterprise where the American government has EVER done a good job?

We have been hammered with the propaganda that it was the Iraqwar and the war on terror that is bankrupting the USA.

A flat tax doesn't work, as it would exclude illegal aliens. Not possible to get rid of them. Forget the name of the author, but he wrote about abolishing personal tax and putting a luxury or similar tax on all products. So, if you want it, you will pay the tax. So, all people pay, illegal or not. Interesting idea, but can't see it as working. All the underground markets that would immediately spring up; would be mind boggling and impossible to close (as government officials and other major business figures would be involved ---similar to ?????Thailand) I believe tax systems are a conundrum. Maybe a balance can be found using a few different taxing methods.

It is the overly complicated tax regulations and different deduction scheemes and investment incentives in form of tax deductions that provide the loopholes for big corporations and the very rich to cheat for multiple billions. When even the Government's own tax lawyers cant figure out the rules they certainly need to be made less complicated.

Just now several European Governments is working on exposing hundreds of billions funneled out into tax heavens and ofshore accounts by multi nationals and very rich, it is on a scale so big that the lost tax revenues have significant negative influence on some of the countries economic balance sheets.

A lot of people need to go to jail for a very long time here, and the owed moneys to be recovered.

Do away with the income tax and institute a national sales tax on all goods including all food. Unfair to the poor? Make their dole check larger to compensate for the increase in food expense.

Raise the short term capital gains tax to discourage speculation on commodities. I'm getting sick watching gasoline approach $4.00/gallon with the newspapers saying the rise in oil prices is based on anticipated economic recovery.

Not at all. Those that were required for seasonal fruit picking would be issued temporary work permits.
Children born in the country to holders of temporary WPs would not be eligible for citizenship.
The employers would have to pay health insurance.
No social services except emergency services.
No school for the kids. Don't bring them, WPs are issued to individuals only.
You must exit the country before the WP expires.

The US military did a pretty decent job in WWII. The space program successfully put a man on the moon within the decade in which they made it their goal. The US Postal Service has delivered every letter to the correct address that I've ever put in a mailbox.
