The libbie TV news were right beside these fine folks going thru the tea bagger ranks and dey be no video of those hard-working tea baggers who are in Washington to take their country back saying that nigger sh*t. The coverage of nigger or faggot being shouted out is only covered in the print press. How many times I gotta tell you that, boy? If this wasn't such a bladdy important issue, I'd be LMAO.
Ok, thanks Jet for your valuable input in this interesting discussion.

You are certainly doing a great job of presenting your points of view with logical and verifiable links to the sources you quote, and I think all the other moonbats will be grateful to you for that.

Should be on the latest video of Face the Nation, when CBS posts it. I just watched the story.

^ I just watched it. Fluff on the race/homo stuff. Then Bob said both the libbies and the Republicans "denounced these demonstrations". Oops, I think he meant to say that they denounce any racial or homo slurs. A pity Bob preferred to use "epithet" instead of "fekin slur". (Hey, someone has to stand up for BG! Free BG!)

Again, where's the proof? There ain't no pudding. As I noted before, there were TV crews with these folks and nothing was recorded that sounded like nigger or faggot. Libbies are drama queens; they need to throw this kinda stuff out to rile their welfare masses. Here's a quote from the shamed Charlie Rangel (you know the tax cheat and target of the Ethics committee for his corporate-funded Caribbean vakays and the chairman of the Ways & Means Committee):
"You don't see any black folks in these groups," said Rangel. "Ever, ever, ever, ever, ever."

Aww, I want to read that. Don't be sad, BF, they deleted a few of mine, too, including one with a vid of some racist niggers in it. *sob*

Oooooh! Barney is heckled while Greta is interviewing him!! Poor thing. I seem to remember him telling a constituent who was against his views that he would rather talk to a table or something.

Uh, huh. There ain't no proof to these accusations, baby.

Republican National Chairman Michael Steele and one of the organizers of Saturday's Tea Party rally strongly condemned the racial slurs that some black lawmakers alleged were yelled at them by some health care protesters as they headed for a procedural vote at Capitol Hill.
    ...
Reps. John Lewis, D-Ga, and Andre Carson, D-Ind., both members of the Congressional Black Caucus, said that a group of protesters hollered at them and called them the N-word.
"They were just shouting. Harassing," Lewis told Fox News. "People being downright mean."
    *sob* Uh, huh.

Kristie Greco, spokeswoman for Democratic Whip Jim Clyburn, said a protester spit on Rep. Emanuel Cleaver who is black and said police escorted the lawmakers into the Capitol. Cleaver's office said he would decline to press charges, but Sgt. Kimberly Schneider of the U.S. Capitol Police said in an e-mail later: "We did not make any arrests today."
    Uh, huh.

    Fair and Balanced?

Frum: "Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us, and now we are discovering we work for Fox" | Media Matters for America

An interesting statement. Does it bother anyone that he just flat out said Fox was their propaganda machine?

Between this and yesterday's "Waterloo" column, what's happened to Frum? I wonder if it's an honest "holy shit, my party's gone nuts" or an attempt to pretend everything was OK with the GOP pre-2008?

I don't know if it bothers anyone, but it sure shouldn't surprise them.

Frum seems genuinely dismayed with the Republican party. For a much more intelligent, erudite expressions of dismay with American "conservative" politics by a true conservative, Daniel Larison is indispensable:

    Have Republicans Been Out-Foxed?

Some conservatives are beginning to question whether Fox News is good for their movement.

GOP Sen. Tom Coburn scored a perfect 100 on the American Conservative Union's rankings for lawmakers last year. That makes him one of the last people you'd expect to criticize what liberals see as the GOP's most notable media mouthpiece, Fox News, but that's exactly what he did at a recent town-hall meeting in Oklahoma. When an audience member fretted about going to prison for not buying health insurance, Coburn responded, "The intention is not to put anyone in jail. That makes for good TV on Fox, but that isn't the intention." When discussing disagreements with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, he described her as a " nice lady" and warned the jeering crowd to be civil and to get their news from more than one source: "Don't catch yourself being biased by Fox News that somebody is no good."

.... At the National Press Club last week, Rupert Murdoch was asked if it was appropriate for Fox News to be promoting tea-party events, including—according to one questioner—one Fox business host's directing viewers to a tea-party Web site to buy merchandise. "No, I don't think we should be supporting the tea party, or any other party," Murdoch responded, adding that he would investigate the tea-party coverage.

Fox news definitely has influenced it's nightly 3 million viewers.

I've tried to have a rational discussion with Fox news viewers.

Almost all of them were emotional, and made over-generalized statements.

Whatever is said about Fox News cannot top the idiots over at CNN.

Everyone knows Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper suck at Jeopardy. But Rick Sanchez is possibly the biggest moron anchoring cable news today with the possible exception of Joy Behar... who is also on CNN.

While reporting on the eruption of a volcano in Iceland, Rickie had this to say.
"When you think of a volcano, you think of Hawaii and long words like that. You don't think of Iceland. You think it's too cold to have a volcano there."
No, Rick. We don't think that, because we're not stupid. On the other hand, since you were addressing a CNN audience, your assessment of what your audience thinks might well be correct.

Haha, Is Ailes finally realising that you can't put a genie back into the bottle?

Amidst a firestorm of criticism, reportedly "furious" Fox News executives have yanked Sean Hannity from taping his April 15 show at a Cincinnati Tea Party event which charged admission and had "all proceeds" benefiting the organization. As Media Matters for America had reported, Hannity's appearance, which was promoted on 18 different editions of his Fox News program, elicited criticism from news and broadcast veterans who questioned the ethics of raising money for a political organization during a production of a Fox News show.

    Here is another interesting thought:

How wealthy are the Faux "news" suckers?

In 2009, Fox News had $500 million in revenues and CNN had around $415 million

    In the same year:
Fox news viewers: 2 million and CNN viewers: 840,000

So in terms of ad $/viewer:
    FNS: $250; CNN: $494

So CNN is, very roughly, twice as profitable in terms of dollars per viewer. That should tell you a lot about who watches each network; Fox is targeting people that their ad buyers consider to have little disposable income, and CNN's are much more likely to have that vital 20something-40 demographic.

I guess Fox Newstards should think twice before crying about libbies going to get jobs like real Americans. It certainly looks like your average "Commie News Network" libbie viewer not only has a job, but has a much better one than your average Fox News viewer.

    The money doesn't lie right?

That's really funny, Slack. I don't know where you got your numbers and you don't provide a source, but they are just a bit off. Fox's profits exceeded $500 mil; its revenues totalled $1.21 billion for 2009. If they only generated revs of $500 mil a year, they'd be doing news wire stories all day on a loop.

But, if your numbers were correct then would you revamp the co.'s biz model? Fox should charge more for its ads because it has more viewers and/or it should add more CMs because it has more viewers? Gosh, I hope you don't run a business.

Here's from a PEJ report for 2009 returns:

Financially, CNN and HLN remained static, not necessarily a bad thing given the challenges facing other media in 2009. Profits (up 1% to $475.5 million) and revenues (down 1% to $1.18 billion) were basically flat, as was overall news investment (down 2.5% to $703.4 million).

By contrast, Fox achieved growth across nearly all key metrics. Its audiences were up by nearly a quarter in both prime time (2.13 million viewers) and daytime (1.2 million viewers). Its profits (up 19% to $534.8 million) and revenues (up 14% to $1.21 billion) grew substantially. The channel's news investment was up 10% to $674 million.

    ...
As for MSNBC, the median audience for its prime-time programming, now filled with liberal talk shows, rose 3% to 786,000 for the year. Its daytime audience, when it relies more on news from NBC, fell 8% to 325,000. Financially, the mixed audience results helped keep things flat. Profits rose 1% to $149.6 million, on revenues that were similar, up less than 1% to $368 million. As a consequence, MSNBC is expected to have spent roughly the same amount, $217.9 million, on newsgathering in 2009 as a year earlier.

From the article: A Fox sales executive, Mike Mandelker, told the group's ad buyer that the spot was too confusing, VoteVets spokesman Eric Schmeltzer said.

Yeah right? Too confusing for those dipshits that watch FOX News.

    The article,……..

Fox News last week refused to carry an advertisement from the liberal group VoteVets on the grounds that it was "too confusing," a spokesman for the group said.

The ad, above, seeks to make the familiar case that climate legislation would have national security benefits by reducing the oil profits of hostile Middle Eastern states.

"Every day Congress doesn't pass a clean energy climate plan our enemies get stronger," says the ad, which focuses on Iran and presses Congress to pass a bill to "cut oil profits for hostlile nations."

A Fox sales executive, Mike Mandelker, told the group's ad buyer that the spot was too confusing, VoteVets spokesman Eric Schmeltzer said.

The ad is airing without objection on CNN and MSNBC.

Neither Mandelker nor Fox News spokeswoman Dana Klinghoffer responded to email inquiries about the decision.

I don't understand why VoteVets would even bother wasting their money on this ad? The largest individual owner of News Corp stock outside of the Murdoch family is a Saudi prince so that sounds like a really bad marketing strategy.

Nice to see that FOX executives hold their viewers in such high esteem. Perhaps they realized their target demographic are morons who are easily confused and/or easily frightened.

    That would explain Glenn Beck.

You mean like Rahm Deadfish? Lovely addition to the White House and such class:

Emanuel’s continual F-bombing is also well documented, if not exactly surprising. During the campaign, according to the book, Rahm told Bill Clinton to "stop acting like the fucking hack-in-chief." Even Bo, the Obamas’ dog, was a recipient of Rahm’s rage. "A few weeks after the first family got a dog, Rahm Emanuel ripped into Bo, whose household accidents were consuming valuable presidential time in cleanups." Alter reports Rahm saying, "I’m going to kill that fucking dog." In one meeting with a junior male staffer, Rahm apparently yelled: "Take your fucking tampon out and tell me what you have to say."

    What a nasty woman.

I am wondering when the media will admonish her for being a Jew hater....won't hold my breath. It would be a firestorm is anyone uttered something close in reference to Muslims.

    Reverse PC I tell you!!!!

Yet, she will still be grandly ushered into the WH as a trusted member of the "press corp".
