Many times.

chimps kill other chimps that they don't like. it's usually territorial. gang up in packs, they do.

^Yep animals kill for territory (which means resources) and hierarchy (sex) same as humans.


A domestic tomcat will kill kittens which aren't of his own loins.

Yes - ever seen the result of a fox having entered a chicken shed? Dogs chasing and killing/maining sheep? Why are cats so good at catching mice? - not becasue they are hungry.
