Guess you missed the salient point?
"However, Bild is reporting that not only did Obama know about the bugging, but that he himself personally ok’d it in 2010, and stepped up surveillance on Merkel, calling for a “comprehensive dossier” on her."
Don't worry BM... next line of defense will be "But he is a Democrat and an African-American and he isn't even vaguely related to the Bush family, so he can't be bad by our complex calculus." And he never, ever starred in a B-movie like Reagan, so he must be really, really smart.
Dead kids all over the Muslim world, legalized torture and vicious pursuit of whistleblowers aside, it must be admitted that Obama is not a Republican and therefore good.
Oh you forget - somehow it will be Bush's fault just as Clinton overseeing the deaths of 500,000 kids with the US lead sanctions was Bush Snr's fault as well. Lucky though, because when the GOP have rented the whitehouse for a short time, they can pretend none of it is their doing either. It helps them sleep at night though, so that is OK.Originally Posted by mao say dung

Obama family attends church service
President Obama and his family attended Sunday services at St. John's Episcopal Church, which is across Lafayette Park from the White House.
It is a day for reflection, not politics.
When a pool reporter asked if the Obamacare website can be fixed by the end of November, Obama responded: "C'mon guys. I'm going to church."
During the service, seminarian Sarah Taylor offered prayers "for Barack, our president, the leaders of Congress, the Supreme Court, and all who are in authority, for Afghanistan, and the Middle East, for this community, the nation and the world."
After church, in the afternoon, Obama took a motorcade to Fort Belvoir, Va., for a round of golf.

Yeah, those Hooker Boots and the short skirt are just the fashion for Mooch to wear for a family outing at Church, eh?...just sayin'
On to more Obama Detachment/Inepitude:
A reporter asks Obama's Press Flack why Obama is always in the dark about virtually everything important going on in the world and in his White House. Obama, the supposed genius wonk, is forever claiming to have no previous "awareness" of things like the IRS scandal or Benghazi or the world's first SCOAMF website, Healthcare.gov.
Why shucks, he found out about these things same time you did -- from the newspaper.
Church of England, no less. Founded by a British monarch who wished for Christianity's divorce laws to become considerably more, umm, Islamic. Headed by Her Majesty the Queen of Dominion. How patriotic Barry. Could this be a new cause celebre' for the tea party?Originally Posted by TonyBKK
This always makes me laugh. Obamabots are read out Obama policies and election promises, but told they are from Romney back in 2012. Listening to their reactions is classic right up until they get told that they were not Romney but from their god.
the cool aid is very very strong in the USA.
Well, demonizing insurance companies was slick when Obama didn't have a record and broken website. Doesn't work that way anymore...
The 10 Most Outrageous Completely Made-Up Obama Scandals
1. He’s so a Muslim extremist.
Almost as soon as he announced he was a candidate for president, Fox and Friends claimed that then-Senator Obama was educated in a “madrasa.” Obama explained that he attended a Muslim school when he lived in Indonesia, before he attended a Roman Catholic school. The use of “madrasa” and the implication that he was a Muslim was obviously mean to frame the candidate as a sympathizing with Islamic terrorists. It was an easy argument to stick on a guy with “Hussein” as middle name and the argument is still being made in various ways today.
2. But he has an evil black Christian minister.
During the 2008 election, the emergence of video of Reverend Jeremiah Wright ranting about the U.S.’s role in provoking the 9/11 attacks shook up the primary and forced Senator Obama to distance himself from his friend. Republicans blasted John McCain for failing to explicitly use Wright’s words in his campaign, but Fox News and AM radio endlessly harped on Wright and his connection to the candidate endlessly. Wright so was so closely linked to Obama that the right often called him Obama’s “second father.” The reverend has mostly disappeared from the public eye, but some Republicans hoped he would become an issue in the 2012 election.
3. He “pals around” with terrorists who write his books.
You know about Bill Ayers, a former member of the Weather Underground a “domestic terrorist” group that set off several bombs designed to create property damage to protest the Vietnam War. Ayers spent less than a year in prison and became a respected member of Chicago’s educational community, where he crossed paths with President Obama. During the 2008 campaign their connections become fodder for Sarah Palin’s famous “pals around with terrorists” attack. Well into 2012, Sean Hannity on Fox was spreading the entirely false rumor that Ayers had helped Obama write his books.
4. Faked his own birth certificate.
Forget that he would be a citizen even if he were born in Kenya or even Mars–his mother was a citizen, having been born and bred in Kansas. Forget that he produced his official Hawaiian birth certificate in every form that exists. Forget that millions of Republicans still believe that his birth certificate is fake. The suggestion that Obama’s entire life has been a fraud in order to commit treason on the United States is so contemptible and heinous that you can repeat it again and again and still be courted by the Republican nominee for president. Ask Donald Trump.
The birtherism fantasy was advanced by all forms of the conservative media and even when Republicans rejected it without condemning the obvious xenophobia and racism that fed the fantasy. But what was the argument being advanced here? Barack Obama is a Harry Potter-like figure whose birth immediately sparked a telegraph from Kenya to Honolulu to post a birth announcement. What’s the sense in this argument? None. It was simply a way to point out the president’s “otherness.”
5. Health care reform is reparations for slavery.
It will be difficult to explain to future generations how scary the Glenn Beck phenomenon was. In the middle of the worst financial crisis in 50 years, he went on the largest news channel in the country daily to advance theories that henceforth had not made it beyond email forwards. Beck’s animated antipathy for the president was infectious to Republicans who had just suffered the worst drubbing since 1964. It also completely contaminated the discourse. Instead of arguing the merits of the actual health care system we had, Beck focused millions on questions like: Is health care reform an attempt to pay back African-Americans for slavery? Instead of discussing why we were the only industrialized country in the world without universal health care, we were sidelined in an insane discussion of racial politics that made sense to Republicans for one reason: the new president was black.
6. Obama’s goal is to wreck the American economy.
If you haven’t seen the movie 2016: Obama’s America, here’s a spoiler: Obama’s goal is to ruin the economy so other countries in the world get a chance to lead. Based on this theory, the fact that America has had the highest corporate profits in history as a million new millionaires were created indicates that President Obama has failed at his one goal in life.
Given that economic success is basically the only metric that gets a president re-elected, the theory is so foolish that it’s hard to believe an adult produced it. But Dinesh D’Souza appears to be full grown. He was the former head of a Christian college until they found out that he was engaged to a woman who wasn’t his wife. D’Souza’s movie is the most successful conservative documentary of all time. His theories have been advanced on all of the major news networks and by one-time GOP presidential frontrunner Newt Gingrich.
7. He’s really black—and angry!
Before his death in early 2012, right-wing firebrand Andrew Breitbart promised that he would give Obama the vetting he never got in 2008. His minions carried on his quest and produced two shocking videos that had been on the Internet for years. One showed the president hugging a somewhat controversial professor of his at Harvard. The other showed the president giving a speech—to black people! America still may be in shock. You’ll vet him sometime, you guys.
8. He’s dumb
What’s behind all the jokes about the president’s teleprompter? Of course it’s the suggestion that the president isn’t smart enough to speak without it—despite endless evidence otherwise. The more formalized way conservatives make this argument is by demanding the president’s transcripts from college—though he was the president of the Harvard Law Review, graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and taught Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago law School. Of course, the right would like to use titles of the classes to prove the president is a socialist or anti-colonialist or whatever he’s supposed to be. But the Friday before the election, the Daily Caller clarified the right’s real aim by publishing an unconfirmed rumor that the president only had a 2.6 GPA at Columbia. Unless we know that, how can we be sure what he’d do in his second term?
9. Czars!
This was a huge Glenn Beck favorite in 2009-2010: the unelected czars! Of course, George W. Bush appointed more czars than President Obama and the word was first used to describe Richard Nixon’s energy “czar.” It was Soviet-sounding and thus was a perfectly valid way to attack the president. Just another example of a completely routine government function that that right tried to scandalize because Obama was in office.
10. FEMA Camps
In 2009, the news spread like wildfire. An executive order gave the president power to round up dissident Americans and throw them in in FEMA concentration camps. Actual aerial shots of the camps began to appear on the Internet. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) warned about re-education camps for young people. Glenn Beck claimed he couldn’t debunk the rumors—until Popular Mechanics did a little research and debunked them all. Beck had an editor on the show to explain that he’d been spreading misinformation.
^ That's some funny stuff innit?
This is a doozie as well.

Woodward goes on to criticize Obamacare and he alludes to the amateurs working in the White House (who were selected by ideology and not previous success) as why the roll out was such a disaster. Woodward also alluded to the raid on the Osama bin Laden compound.

Despite the technical problems that have plagued the healthcare.gov website close to a million Americans have already bought health insurance thanks to President Obama's Affordable Care Act!
The CBO estimates some 7 million Americans will acquire health insurance for next year thanks to Obamacare.

You personally buy this Obamacare thing?
If not, just another hypocrite Obama Fan Boy...
Still looking at plans and doing my research, but will definitely sign up before the end of the year. There are some shockingly good deals for my growing family thanks to President Obama's Affordable Care Act
Buying a plan in the US should also fill in the holes in my Thai health insurance since here in Thailand the maximums are limited and there are a lot of exclusions that should be covered by a US policy.
Obama Apologizes For Repeatedly Promising Americans They Could Keep Their Health Insurance.
Sorta can't help the sincerity of his apology...
President Barack Obama apologized on Thursday for repeatedly telling Americans that they could keep their health insurance plans, if they preferred, under the new federal health law he championed when, in fact, policies for millions of people are being canceled.
“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me,” he told NBC News in an exclusive interview.
“We’ve got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this,” he added.
Obama’s comments come days after he attempted to clarify what he meant when he repeatedly assured Americans in previous years that they would be able to keep their plans under the Affordable Care Act."

So let's get this straight. Just a few days ago he was claiming he never said it, now he’s apologizing for it?
Exclusive to NBCNews-- of course.
Where else would Obama go to for a friendly hearing? Note Obama can't to but to a handful of journalists or outlets, because many would ask him very pointed questions.
But he can rely on good old NBC to let him get out his Poll Tested Message of the Day without too many other questions."I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," he told NBC News in an exclusive interview at the White House. "We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this. "The rest of the NBC article is pro-Administration spin.
If Obama were actually sorry, he would just call HHS and tell them to change the date of grandfathering from March 23, 2010 -- when Obamacare passed -- to October 1, 2013 -- when it actually took effect. And he could do that with a phone call.
But he won't.
Because he wants to terminate these policies...
here's a bit of president obama news.....
it's nov. 2013, and he's going to be president for another 3 years and 3 months.
AFAIC, what he needs to do now is get out of afghanistan, close gitmo, prosecute a few more IBs and get immigration reform passed.....all of which are possible before 2016.
This woman claims to have grown up with Obama. She says she's coming out because he's just gone to far. I found this on the site Raw Story today.

Heh...check this out - Top Ranked Golf Instructor Says Obama Not A Very Good Golfer. No Wind-Up & Lacks Power.
Doesn’t know how to properly use his body. And is the worst President ever. But other than that, he’s just fantasssstic!
Despite frequently playing golf while the country struggles economically, Obama is actually not very good at it, according to testimony from a top-ranked golf instructor.
“If I had the opportunity to give the president some help, I would advise him to make a better turn on his backswing, both with his hips and his shoulders…Right now there’s no wind-up, and then there’s a lot of un-windup…He tends to pull across and slap at shots…It doesn’t look like he has a lot of power,” golf instructor Butch Harmon previously told Golf Digest."
