Sorry, but you are overreacting. Embedding urls into text is standard practice, there even is a tab for this purpose in the tool-bar. Just hover over the text and you can clearly see the url.Originally Posted by raycarey

Wassa matter Ray? This preacher man got your knickers in a twist?
Drifting sideways on the forum moderation front?
The better response is, what does this guy have to do with Obama?
Is he any more damaging than the NY guv is to Hildabeast?
I don't think so. This smear/countersmear is going to go on for another 4-5 months. Don't the Dems realize they're only bludgeoning themselves?
Not sure why you quoted my words to say this as if it addresses anything I posted? And just in case this diversion doesn't work, just add a personal insult, to give your so-called argument more weight, eh?Originally Posted by BobbyTitsOriginally Posted by BobbyTits
You could answer these questions yourself, if you made the effort to put your beer down and read ray's posts.Originally Posted by Texpat
Hmm, if the responses in this thread are anything to go by....Booners, bg, Jet and the Tits-guy aren't Dems "bludgeoning themselves".Originally Posted by Texpat

^ Well, hardly surprising booner. I still think it's a storm in a teacup, but it's how it effects the vote that counts. Things are a bit different stateside.
Beg to differ, sabang. This is certainly not a tempest in a teapot by any stretch of the imagination. Obama has listened to this vitrol for > 20 years and has obviously been influenced by this 'bias' as well as his wife has. Recall her recent statement she's never been proud of America until recently?
These are definitely not the sort of folks we want or need in the White House.
A Deplorable Bitter Clinger
^ The peoples vote will decide that.
Personally, I think you're paying rather short shrift to a summa cum laude Harvard grad. Then again, he is a Dem.
I was there and you weren't. It was the first time I heard racist remarks and it shocked me. Guess Tutu figured the Jpn audience would side with him against the evil Westerners, remembering the A-bombs and all. Unfortunately, the audience response was tepid at best as he knew not that the Jpn follow haragei. Go look that up, Ray.
And there I was hoping you'd have enough brainpower to realise you weren't addressing my points before after I questioned your 'argument', or that perhaps you'd have something other than the same lame insult to contribute?
Oh well, tits another moronic douchebag...
So Obama's preacher is just an old cranky uncle in the corner that says strange stuff, eh?If there are 23% of whites who think that Wright's words are not racially divisive, we're fucked...
Seventy-three percent (73%) of voters say that Wright’s comments are racially divisive. That opinion is held by 77% of White voters and 58% of African-American voters.
Most voters, 56%, said Wright’s comments made them less likely to vote for Obama. That figure includes 44% of Democrats. Just 11% of voters say they are more likely to vote for Obama because of Wright’s comments.
However, among African-Americans, 29% said Wright’s comments made them more likely to support Obama. Just 18% said the opposite while 50% said Wright’s comments would have no impact.
Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a presidential election.
^ Thanks for the rasmussen poll, Boon.
I don't see the racial aspect of the youtube video that I saw. We've heard this rhetoric before from blacks in the US.
But yeah, it will cause some whites on the fence to shift, perhaps. But with Obama in the delegate lead, do Hillary have a chance at being an alternative, or will it be McCain? I have no idea at this point, and there is 4.5 months to the convention and 7.5 months to the election.
............
Awesome debate but the sad truth is if Obama wins the White House someone will shoot him!
AW YES, but you seem to have forgotten the new and uncontrolled "Super delegates" who can do as they please.Originally Posted by Milkman
