I was watching Fox Business last night (Tues USA time) and they did discuss the interview and to their credit the presenter (the black guy who wears glasses) did say some complementary statements re Bernie as did one of the guests, a Fox reporter.

That Fox reporter was quite glowing in her praise from the point of view that Bernie did the interview with Fox as most of the other Dems ignore Fox.

Then the other two guests started to hammer on about Bernie being a socialist bla bla ... and the credibility was lost as the tone of the discussion had changed.

The fox propaganda machine had a brief disruption and Bernie out flanked them and put them on their heels. Then the propaganda machine inevitably went into overdrive to blow smoke to coverup what had happened.

Keep your head in the sand Snubs, if there was proof of the political persuasion of those cheering Sanders you would deny it,not sure why I even respond to your ridiculous comments.

Why hey do you post as though this is a fight between conservatives and progressives as opposed to a town hall delivering information to the voters.

if he gets on the ticket, republicans should be scared of him pealing off young, evangelical votes.

He's sharp, he's smart. I'd vote for him. But his age and his sexuality will be a burden in today's US electoral mudslinging and the rise of the redneck voter.
He really needs to get his platform of policies out there and concentrate on convincing the electorate that his policies are what matter, not his husband.

    paraphrasing mario cuomo....

campaigning is poetry, governing is prose

and he's chosen the strategy of first laying out his own narrative and not yet focusing on his policy positions....and considering the aspects of his life that make him unique, i think it's a wise strategy.....partly because he's using the media to get as much free advertising as he can. he's been on practically every TV show in the last month, and his name recognition has increased significantly. most of these TV shows aren't interested in what he thinks about NAFTA/USMCA, but they do want to talk about his age, military service, faith, sexuality, education, linguistic skills, etc..

IOW, he's telling his own story before someone else can....and he'll eventually get to his positions once he's finished with the first part....let's keep in mind that iowa is still 10 months from now.

Anyone who thinks the U.S. is ready for an openly gay president is kidding themselves.

He's the most intelligent candidate from either side. You're summation, though maybe correct, is a sad indictment on the US citizenry.

...that was said concerning a black president before Obama...and a Catholic president before Kennedy..."US citizenry" is a roiling mass of contradictions waiting for someone in Capri pants to lead them...

How does having an opinion make one a bigot FFS?
I reiterate, the U.S. isn't ready for a president who sucks cock and takes it up the arse.
I know you think it's perfectly normal but it's not, (yet).
Mind you they elected Trump so I suppose anything is possible. That's the sad indictment.
