Earl seems intent on thread-fucking yet another SC thread.
here's a young guy in the house from massachusetts who could conceivably be on the ticket:
Seth Moulton
Born: October 24, 1978 (age 39 years), Salem, Massachusetts, United States
Office: Representative (D-MA 6th District) since 2015
Education: Harvard University (2001), Harvard Kennedy School (2008–2011), Harvard Business School (2008–2011),
Military Service: United States Marine Corps (four tours in Iraq)
I wouldn't be surprised if it was either Andrew Cuomo or Michael Avenatti.
I really doubt that Bert but I do like Avenatti. He knows how to turn screws.

i would be very surprised if it was either of them.
IMO cuomo probably suffered a self-inflicted fatal wound to any national candidacy last week with his 'america was never that great' comment. i understand the point he was trying to make and yes it was blown out of proportion, but i don't think he's ever going to be able to shake that baggage outside of NY.
avenatti is very, very good at what he does---representing his clients and being an agitator on TV. that doesn't mean he's in any way qualified for what is quite likely the most difficult and complex job in the world. if we've learned anything from the trump presidency, it's that we need professionals with experience in government heading the executive branch. btw, does avenatti have any history of public service? he might, but i'm not aware of it.
I do think Ophra is the only credible candidate at this stage,
I don't accept you premise given what we know about Trump's work ethic v. Obama's. But to humor you and if your premise is somehow accurate -
the worst combination of attributes is energetic with bad ideas. That type does real damage. A lazy person with good ideas and gets little done does little damage.
There is little doubt that Trump has done a huge amount of damage to the country.

you are raising valid points, but actually doing nothing when things need to get done can also be very damaging. See it got Trump elected
Obama comes from a corrupted district in Chicago and some of his mentors are gangsters. Nobody is perfect, but still he was the best candidate at the time and deserved to win. He has failed as a president and could have done so much more. I think his lazyness and trying to please "corrupt" politicians was the reasons behind his incapacity. And Trump got in when Obama failed to deliver. If you want to look at Obama legacy, look no further than Trump.
Trump has not done damages to the country, he is actually improving it, how you ask ? simple, he is forcing everyone to hit a reset button, well deserved after all those years since 2000 of national and international corrupt policies. He is going to flush out the system by logging a big turd in it. That's how you reset it all.
