The OPCW found no evidence of chemical weapon use in Douma

The OPCW has issued its interim fact finding report which states:

The results show that no organophosphorous nerve agents or their degradation products were detected in the environmental samples or in the plasma samples taken from alleged casualties.
the premise on which the US tried to kick off WW3 is a fabrication - the global media silence is overwhelming

THE HAGUE, Netherlands —6 July 2018—The Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), issued an interim report on the FFM’s investigation to date regarding the allegations of chemical weapons use in Douma, Syria on 7 April 2018.

The FFM’s activities in Douma included on-site visits to collect environmental samples, interviews with witnesses, data collection. In a neighbouring country, the FFM team gathered or received biological and environmental samples, and conducted witness interviews.OPCW designated labs conducted analysis of prioritised samples.

The results show that no organophosphorous nerve agents or their degradation products were detected in the environmental samples or in the plasma samples taken from alleged casualties. Along with explosive residues, various chlorinated organic chemicals were found in samples from two sites, for which there is full chain of custody. Work by the team to establish the significance of these results is on-going.

The FFM team will continue its work to draw final conclusions.
The Fact-Finding Mission also issued a report on 2 July 2018 addressing allegations of chemical weapons use in Al-Hamadaniya, Syria on 30 October 2016, and Karm al-Tarrab, Syria on 13 November 2016.

On the basis of the information received and analysed, the prevailing narrative of the interviews, and the results of the laboratory analyses, the FFM cannot confidently determine whether or not a specific chemical was used as a weapon in the incidents that took place in the neighbourhood of Al-Hamadaniyah and in the area of Karm al-Tarrab.

The FFM noted that the persons affected in the reported incidents may, in some instances, have been exposed to some type of non-persistent, irritating substance.
The FFM’s reports on the allegations of chemical weapons use in Douma, Al-Hamadaniya, and Karm Al-Tarrab have been shared with States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention. The reports were also transmitted to the UN Security Council through the UN Secretary-General.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Well you know.. the US media would have let you know if they'd have found any.. don't ya think.?

This interim report was published 10 days ago, now it could just be that we've all been distracted by the World Cup.. but you would think some of the major media outlets would be running this story... mmm oh... no that would then show the narrative they were pushing 24/7 after the alleged incident was war mongering propaganda.

    Moans about the media.

    Fails to highlight:

Disingenuous harry.. it doesn't say chemical weapons, but definitely no nerve agents found on samples taken from persons and locations in Douma.

Chlorinated substances found in two sites, possibly chemical weapons factories or under the kitchen sink.

But repeat, no traces of chemical weapon use found in Douma environment vis a vis no attack took place.

Keep clinging to your fantasy that Trump was right to try starting WW3

Don't go to a swimming pool, otherwise Dr. Death awaits.

No chlorine gas was found, no Chlorine gas filled cannisters, no Chlorine gas missiles and no Chlorine tipped biros.

Somebody washing down his porch to get rid of the tench of MSM lies no doubt put 3 cupfulls of toilet cleaner in the bucket instead of 2. Hence the surprise finding of Chlorine residues.

But let's go bomb a few brown guys and gals.

It doesn't really surprise me that a poorly educated moron such as yourself doesn't know anything about the history of Chlorine gas as a weapon dating back to WWI.

I doubt they tell informative stuff like that on Sputnik.

Well golly gosh, there's a surprise:

"opposed by Russia, Iran, Syria and their allies"....

Chemical weapons team to begin assigning blame for Syrian attacks

13 Nov 2018 11:36PMTHE HAGUE: The global chemical weapons watchdog will in February begin to assign blame for attacks with banned munitions in Syria's war, using new powers approved by member states but opposed by Damascus and its key allies Russia and Iran.

The agency was handed the new task in response to an upsurge in the use of chemical weapons in recent years, notably in the Syrian conflict, where scores of attacks with sarin and chlorine have been carried out by Syrian forces and rebel groups, according to a joint United Nations-OPCW investigation.

A core team of 10 experts charged with apportioning blame for poison gas attacks in Syria will be hired soon, Fernando Arias, the new head of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), told the Foreign Press Association of the Netherlands on Tuesday.

The Syria team will be able to look into all attacks previously investigated by the OPCW, dating back to 2014.

The OPCW was granted additional powers to identify individuals and institutions responsible for attacks by its 193 member states at a special session in June. The decision was supported by the United States and European Union but opposed by Russia, Iran, Syria and their allies, highlighting deep political division at the agency.

"The mandate is to identify the perpetrators of crimes committed with chemical weapons, but the OPCW is not a court or the police", and will refer cases to U.N. organisations with powers to punish those responsible, Arias said.

The expert team will "be in charge of identifying the perpetrators for Syria in the first stage", Arias said, and might later be expanded to look at attacks globally.

The June decision followed attacks with other chemical weapons. In Salisbury, England, a former Russian spy and his daughter were poisoned in March with the military-grade nerve agent novichok, and the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong UN was assassinated in Malaysia with VX in February 2017.

    Here we go again:

Syria blames foreign states for Aleppo ‘toxic gas attack’, calls for UN to step in
    Published time: 25 Nov, 2018

The militant shelling of Aleppo was the result of some countries’ attempts to “facilitate” delivery of chemicals to terrorist groups, Damascus said. Syria now calls for the UN to act against states supporting terrorism.

At least 46 people, including 8 children have been hospitalized in Aleppo with symptoms of gas poisoning from chlorine, according to the Russian military who sent special units to assist with treating patients after the attack. Syrian media say over 100 people were injured. The shelling that targeted residential areas of Aleppo on Saturday night is believed to have been launched from within the Idlib de-escalation zone, from an area controlled by the former Al-Nusra front.

Damascus said the attack aimed to further frame the Syrian government, according to Sana news agency. The Syrian Foreign Ministry called on the UN Security Council to immediately condemn the “terrorist crimes,” and take “deterrent and punitive measures against the states and regimes backing terrorism.”

The statement stopped short to name any particular “sponsors,” but said the attack occurred as the result of “facilitation” provided by “some countries” to deliver chemicals to armed militants.

The attack was an attempt to damage the Syrian normalization process, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova. She added that the shelling of Aleppo must be condemned by the international community, which has been silent of the incident so far.

Analyst Ali Rizk, who specializes in Middle East affairs, told RT that the shelling is “further proof” of Russia’s constant warnings that the militants possess chemicals. Idlib remains a terrorist “safe haven”, he stressed.

“If terrorists are left alone for more time I think they will only continue such attacks, which I think makes it more and more imperative to go ahead as soon as possible to eliminate these terrorists,” Rizk told the channel.

Speaking of what terrorists can achieve by such actions, the analyst said that they want to show that the war is not over and boost morale among militants, as well as scare off Syrian refugees who fled the country from returning back home.

Previous alleged chemical weapons attack in the city of Douma in April, for which the West was quick to pin the blame on Damascus, was used as a pretext for US-UK-French missile strikes against Syria. Russia has repeatedly stressed that the incident was staged and warned that terrorist groups are plotting to carry out more false flag chemical attacks in the Arab Republic.

I'm sure the military forces from Israel, ameristan, NATO and Gulf States will ask permission from the Syrian government prior to attacking heavily the western backed throat slitters in Syria.

Likewise apply sanctions to the trainers, the technology manufacturers/IP owners, suppliers of the water/medicines/food/trucks/chemicals medical care/military aid and intelligence, the funders, the shipping companies, financiers/banking systems and insurance companies who profited by supplying the terrorists who launched the attack.

It seems ameristan and it's vassals have no reason to attack terrorist use of CW's in Syria.

Here's an idea. Maybe Putin should stop blocking the OPCW and let them go and prove it was the "nasty terrorists".
