Would-be Islamic State female suicide bombers recruited on social media show no remor

Two young brides who were set to become the first female suicide bombers in Indonesia did not show any
remorse about what they were preparing to do, an Australian-based filmmaker says.

    Key points:
    • The women were exposed to radical teachings through social media
    • Mr Ismail says they are yet to show any remorse for their actions
    • He says the women are influenced by IS propaganda while searching for sense of community

Noor Huda Ismail's new documentary The Bride (Pengantin) explores how former Indonesian migrant workers, Dian Yulia Novi
    and Ika Puspitasari, became radicalised.

Mr Ismail, also the founder of the Institute for International Peace Building in Indonesia, and his colleague, Rizka, the
documentary's narrator, met the two convicted female terrorists in prison, where they revealed how they were influenced by
Islamic jihadists online and persuaded to marry the men.

Mr Ismail said both Dian and Ika had not yet showed remorse for what had happened, adding that individuals who were
arrested and jailed did not necessary "deradicalise, they just disengage".

They were just doing what the Quran tells them to, no need to condemn them, condemn Islam. Then execute them of course

Don't they fear the remote possiblity of being in pain or surviving and being disabled and paralysed for life?

Absurd religion. Yet many are easily radicalised.

    Bizarre.

^There are just too many people in the world. The stupid ones are the majority.

"The women were exposed to radical teachings through social media". QED.

I saw some on Bigo today. Full ME getup except for the low top and push up bras. Obviously from the South of Thailand. But I bet it will create a storm of local protest.

That post obviously makes some kind of sense to you. To the most hardened observer, it makes no sense at all.

You'd have to live in Thailand and have some knowledge of Thai women to understand it. I wouldn't worry about it.

Why would they feel remorse when they believe what they are doing is divinely ordained.

This is why superstitious religious belief is incompatible with 21st century globalised secular morality.

Thai women are socially active on a number of Thai speaking apps. If you know you know if you don't don't worry about it. Good married men would not be acquainted with these things.

In the OT god used to torment and smite those he disliked and had done with it, then he started marketing a heaven and hell and that's when it went off the rails.

I have lived in Thailand for nearly ten years. I had a Thai girlfriend for 7 of those years.

You still don’t make any sense. I’m certainly not worried about it. Understanding is your problem, not mine.

Comparing Islam with Christianity is not only absurd but shows your ignorance of both. May I suggest you stand on the steps of the Vatican and yell out "I'm Gay", and follow it up by doing the same at the Kaaba? I would suggest the Vatican first. Doing it the other way round will guarantee you will never make the Vatican. Your lack of faith or belief does not automatically make you intellectually superior and others ignorant as you often (tediously) suggest by your posts.
(some folks have moved farther from the cave than others.)
Just to remind you of a few scientists who were also people of faith.
Descartes, Newton, Pascal, Boyle, Faraday, Kelvin, Planck and Einstein and many others. I'm sure even with your obvious genius you might acknowledge they may somewhat approach your superior intellectual level.

...^sensitive Christian alert!...a comparison of one ossified theology with another is, imo, a pastime best suited to academics...however, unburdened of tribal devotions, I feel I have an advantage over others still chained to the cross, the cube or the wall: I'm not afraid of the dark...

Beliefs and practices among Christians and Muslims vary greatly across the world and among certain demographics. Within Christianity, Catholics and Protestants often have very different beliefs, and Protestantism itself holds denominations as varied as evangelical fundamentalism and Unitarianism. In Islam, similarly large differences exist between Sunni, Shia, and Sufi Muslims and their beliefs. These differences have run so deep that Catholics and Protestants, Sunnis and Shiites, and Christians and Muslims have sometimes warred against each other over their beliefs.

    Same-same to me.

Both involve brainwashing children from the earliest age.

Just shows that even intelligent people can be brainwashed, so don't feel too bad that you have been as well.
