^ Not a good POV when the scenario is obviously "two career feminists intent on creating a scene where they can whine agrieved entered a cafe full of quiet, coffee-drinking Muslim men and nobody caused a fuss except that they were politely asked to leave and did so when they didn't have to, but chose to leave to make a spurious point".

The point is, why the fuck, in France, were they even ASKED to leave.
If those assholes want to do things the way they do them in their country then I suggest they fuck off back there.

I believe we've had this chat before. You're another one of those idiots, who doesn't recognize the gesture of a subtle olive branch, extended to you.

For heaven sake man, do you really live your life posting on TD forum? And do you need to have the "know-it-all's" last word on everything, all the time?

Re: the current topic issue, you don't even know what the OP topic thread point is about, because you know absolutely nothing about the realities of the muslim world. It's obvious.

So, button-it up, occasionally, and stop making a know-it-all fool of yourself, for once. Let someone else have the last work, for a change there David, whoops, I mean Mr. Maanaam.

This is one of those social media u tubes that if handled correctly can create a revolution. The majority of people are sheep and if social media pressure is applied in the right places and repeated enough behavior can change. Trump got elected and no one predicted that. This media Facebook and forums of all kinds are ripe for AI posters who can influence by sheer numbers of posts both real and fake news postings. A few more like this and France and Germany and Austria swing to the right.

You missed the earlier point that Britain as well as many European countries have exclusive men's clubs, usually for the well-off. Why can't middle class men of any religion have a cafe where they are comfortable talking about whatever they want to chat about?

    1. Was the bar a private club or open to the public? And 2. Does it make a difference with the EU Equality law?

    or

    2. Religious practises/foreign culture are unable to cross, peacefully, a countries borders.

You may wish to investigate ameristani and other countries, "foreign" immigrants and 5th generation descent citizens of foreign lands and comment on how they still observe and is are regaled by all intelligent people, the culture of their "home" country". Mardi Gras, NY "green day", Brixton carnival are just some examples. Instead you continue berating anyone who is not the same/been brought up, as you.

    What is your reply?

Every Muslim (especially) male expat on this planet, needs to R-E-A-D the following: Re: EXPAT

I, personallly enjoy a pleasant expat life, in a country populated by natives who's cultural values are totally different from my own, in many aspects.

However, instead of berating whatever I might easily find wrong with their culture, I attempt to assimilate with whatever I find compatibly right with their culture. Thus, rather than arrogantly

judging the civil law standards of their host countries, as being laws created by ignorant "infidels", Muslim menfolk (in particular) need to "get a grip" on 21st. Century reality, for a welcomed change.

Enough with that insane notion of "72 Celestial Virgins" awaiting every Muslim male's arrival in paradise,...nonsense! Treat those 72 Virgins (in this life) with human respect first. Otherwise,......phew!

That's my point with the likes of you. You're the one who's always right, about everything, all the time. Actually Maanaam, you behave exactly like a reactionary Muslim-male, yourself.

The OP topic threat point is about womenfolk being made to feel "unwelcome" in a Muslim-male dominated public cafe, in suburban Paris. Not a private Men's Club in England, duh!
Now you're mixing apples with oranges, trying to deflect the fact that you know jack-shit about the realities of Muslim culture. Just shut the f***-up, for a change, ok? I know you. Cheers!

But is it such a crime against humanity to have places where blokes can legitimately smoke, drink, gamble and generally talk shit.
Is it a similar heinous crime to have places where women can gather and form a crochet group, safe from lecherous males and jealous husbands.

First, Don't jack the point around Sabang, Ok? You're better than that. And, no it's not a crime against humanity to hang-out with the blokes.
That's what hunting and fishing trips, and sailing yacht races are all about, eh?

Secondly, I've never known of any womyn-folk (including Mama, 3-sisters (5 nieces), a wife, 2-daughters, ect., who felt the need to form such

a reclusive retreat group, to begin with (thank God). Hope that answers your question. Btw, that's an interesting surreal profile photo you have. Cheers.

To be fair the Chinese boat that just won the Volvo round the world race had 2 women on its crew.

Thanks for that post for an update on current events. The Chinese have been kicking arse (Big Time) in a lot of traditionally established arenas, of late.

Whoa! The "Dongfeng" crew are all Europeans, not Chinese. The boat is owned, and project financed by a Chinese consortium, only. Anyway, an interesting article, just the same. Thanks and cheers.

The male cafe customers were suggesting quietly, non-violently they were crossing agreed red lines by being in the male cafes customers home from home, nobody threw them out, they left of their own accord. If you've ever stepped out of the din of a Middle East bazaar into a Tea Shop, as a male foreigner you will see a few raised eyebrows. Especially if you ask for a "pipe". As a foreign woman I don't know how the inhabitants would react. It's a custom in their culture which they wish to preserve, have they not any choices as to what they, as a culture, become?

I suspect the men were merely covering their own arses, if their wives found out that two "foreign ladies" were spending time at their "home from home" they may not be allowed out for a while.

More importantly captained by a Frenchman.
