    Beware of Russians

Americans ‘are hiding’ from us in this ‘little village’ of Davos, says Russia’s Deputy PM

The American delegation at Davos seem to be avoiding any contact with their Russian counterparts. At least that’s the impression Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Arkady Dvorkovich, shared with journalists.

“It’s not Russia which is hiding from dialogue. And Russia isn’t closed. It’s the Americans who are hiding from us in Davos – it’s a small village – but they don’t want to talk. They’re hiding from a real discussion,” Dvorkovich said during a panel session at the annual forum at the Swiss Alpine ski resort.

The head of the Russian delegation in Davos did not pay much attention to the American sanctions against Russia, decrying them as “an insignificant issue.”

“We’re talking about the US sanctions, but these sanctions aren’t the most interesting thing in the world ... We shouldn’t waste so much time on this – we just have to work more efficiently and work better, instead of discussing sanctions,” he said.

However, the Deputy PM said “the aim of the sanctions, which the US employs, isn’t just to punish Russia or send a signal to Russia, but to compete in Europe. The sanctions are definitely used to fulfil those tasks.”

The US has introduced several waves of sanctions, targeting Russian individuals, companies and whole branches of economy, since Moscow reunited with Crimea in 2014 following a referendum and the conflict in Ukraine broke out. The restrictions were further expanded after Donald Trump took office in early 2017.

Dvorkovich was asked if he was aiming to hold talks with the US President, who is expected to attend the Swiss event. “I’m not the president of Russia. I’m not in a position to ask for a meeting with Trump, but I’m ready to contact the representatives of the American delegation,” he replied.

You seem to forget the Ethnic cleansing of Korean, Kazakh, Uzbekh, Volga, Romanians, Poles, Finns, Tatars, Greeks, Turks, Chechens, Ingushs, Balkars, Byelorussia, Lithuanians, Latvias, Estonians, etc. etc. etc. Sorry if I left a few millions out.
Guess those Russians didn't forget about their ole traditions and are still going strong.

Maybe they're avoiding the Russians due to this:

Terrorism no longer the military's top priority, Mattis says
    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/terrori...y-mattis-says/

Pentagon officials cite analysis by a U.S. Navy officer assigned to a Washington think tank as one of many reasons why China and Russia have replaced terrorism as the primary focus of the new national defense strategy. Maintaining a military advantage over China and Russia is now Defense Secretary Mattis' top priority.

I keep telling Russian woman that Rossiya needs to get on the team.

They have a European cultural heritage. They are ethnically white. Why are they the eternal delinquents of the western world?

A century in the wilderness is long enough.

If they would just get on team whitey we could really put these jumped up chinks under the blow torch.

They pretend to be allies with the Chinese but they have nothing in common culturally and do not trust each other an inch behind the political posturing.

That is why they will never defeat the western alliance. Alliances built on time-worn proven values will beat alliances based on expediency and interests every time.

Loops mate... Russia would like to be in the EU. It is not politically acceptable to the UK or the US for Russia to come in from the cold. They are far more use as the bogeyman.

Yeah, watch out for them hypnotising Russians... if you stare for more than three seconds, she's hacked your mind, and you'll dream of her spreading thick mayonnaise onto a ham sub sandwich whilst biting her bottom lip...

You got it all wrong man... the Russkies are the last holdout against the barrage of far left pc drivel that's terrorising the west... it's us who need to get on to team Russia, not the the other way round...

Crimea was part of Russia until Nikita Khrushchev put it into the newly-made-up Ukraine SSR in the 1960s... there was no vote to do that, so returning it to Russia is correcting an illegal wrong. Ukraine never existed as a country until 1991, and even as an entity it was invented in the 1920s as a buffer region, with borders that changed and were made up with no historical precedence... bits of historic Poland, Romania, Lithuania/Belorussia, Czechoslovakia, Russia, it is a made-up country, and has no legal, cultural, or moral right to adminster Crimea, or even half the rest of it that it's current post-1991 borders are scribbled around. It'd be nice if the Russophobic media would actually tell people the truth rather than picking a side, just because they don't like Russia refusing to yield to the western media's lefty cultural jihad on western civilisation.

    ^exactly explained.
And the current situation (and the smart solution as well) will surely make a huge plus for Putin's election. The Russian people are fully aware of the fact what it would mean not only for Crimea but also for Russia if it has not been solved that way.

(Would they long for some experts like Navalny?)

As if Russia would meet the requirements for joining the EU.

For a start it would mean opening the books.

Russia as part of the EU would be a logical thing,

after all we integrated all former USSR countries,

and now without the British loons and traitors, we can start thinking about it out loud

Britain is only the first country to leave... there is plenty of appetite on the continent to follow the UK, and join a far more sensible organisation: EFTA.

Far better for the many restive parts of EU to join the Russian federation, and save it from self-destruction through unprecedented mass-immigration, ethnic self-cleansing, and cultural mass-suicide.
Poland and Hungary already being attacked by the EU for standing up to it, Austria, Czechland, Slovakia, and other states of the East with fresh memories of centralised leftist cryptofascist domination, can see the EUSSR for what it is - a corrupt, incompetent, undemocratic, illogical, economically underperfoming, lie.
Trillions racked up in debt in Germany and and Italian banking system teetering on the edge of collapse, and huge unemployement across the mediterranian/catholic countries - the USA is a better friend to them too.

When will the EU stops standing in the way of self-determination for Catalonia, and stops stirring up civil war in Ukraine?

EU is already full of Ukraine immigrants, the EU states do not need more Ukraine workers with uni education...
Few millions of Ukraine people have emigrated in the last few years either to East or West.

Opening the books? You muppet - the EU has not had their "books" signed off since inception. They are, by their own rules, a Criminal Organisation in this regard.

Open their books indeed. What a john thomas you are
