Troy you are aware how much the government takes from us in tax is the highest it's been for years. Not just talking income tax, but national insurance, fuel duty, VAT, stamp duty etc etc. Income tax might be low with a generous tax free allowance but fuck do they get it back and more everywhere else.
^^ Now you're just being silly again. UK companies were actively recruiting from East European countries for cheap labour. That method of increasing profits through cheap labour markets would be stopped.
One thing is for sure. We can all cut that crap about it having nothing to do with immigration, which was denied by most. Brexit isn't about freedom to trade throughout the world as much as it is to do with controlling the numbers entering the country
Have we got that bit cleared up?
^ My point is it will reduce, if not stop, the active recruitment currently being carried out in poorer countries within the EU.
I am not an economist and nor are you, which is plainly obvious.
No one has said it has nothing to do with immigration, Brexiteers just want an end to uncontrolled immigration from Europe. Like the rest of the world has to do if EU citizens want to live and work in the UK then they can apply for a Visa like everyone else has to. That's why you will find most people with spouses from outside the EU voted Brexit as why should a UK national have to pay thousands to get their spouse legal in the UK when a Bulgarian or Romanian whole family can just freely come and live in the country. Obviously DrBob being the exception.
It's not irrelevant to the debate. Your cousin is benefitting from people already in the country because of others being actively recruited previously. This paved the way for others to come across and find accommodation before finding a job. The whole problem stems from the explanation I gave previously, which was the weakening of the unions and allowing employers to take advantage. This is a UK government problem and independent of EU membership. The reduced number of EU citizens has already been offset by the number of third nationals arriving, which will have been actively recruited and cause exactly the same problems. The same problems screamed about when the West Indians arrived, when the Indians arrived and etc.
Besides you are forgetting there is now no advantage to employing a Pole instead of a Brit, unless of course, they are better at the job.
I say again, the problem will not be fixed by leaving the EU. It may even get worse, depending on whether EU worker rights directives are mirrored in the UK.

So you're happy with active recruitment of people to come into the country on lower wages than for an equivalent Brit. You are happy that the employer can dictate how he trains people and how he pays people with weak unions that can't protect British workers. You believe simply stopping the free movement of people from the EU will protect the average worker from employer exploitation. You think that leaving the EU and the worker rights that come with it is good and that the UK will be far better off.
Good luck with that mate.
My patience has finally run out for the day but thank-you, it has prepared me well for tomorrow, where I have to explain basic real-time software concepts to a bunch of blockheads.
^ Here is a video of Mr Corbyn having that discussion with Andrew Marr (23rd July, 2017).
^ If Brexiteers are so smart how come they didn't get Brexit even though the Referendum went in their favour?
Those crafty Remainers with their superior intellects.... like taking candy from a baby!
^ Awwww, so cute .....still thinks Brexit is possible.
You set up for another half century of bickering today then, Nige?
Might as well...cold and grey outside.
So only Smego and Herr Neverna think Brexit is still on...
Who is going to win the Euro elections FuFu? Presuming of course we take part and Doris hasn't somehow got her deal through.
Sounds like quite the consolation prize ..enjoy!
Imagine if, back in 2016, its the day after the Referendum, someone from the future comes and tells you that Brexit won't happen and then shows you the above post and says, "This is how your future self will respond..."
