Go on, you pretend to be smart, have a guess, no need to be precise, give or take fifty thousand?

You make a lot of noise to conceal the fact that you really don't geddit. When trivial laws are invoked wholesale to maintain order, against civil disobedience, smart money, obviously not yours, will be on the people against the best that any western gov could hope to achieve.

No idea but all seems a bit pointless to me. If and when Brexit gets stopped then that's the time to take to the streets.

Sure, maybe Farage could get 300 for that, possibly even 500 if he reduces the price of a ticket.

London is a remain city with a population of what 10 mill? Hardly an achievement to get people out there. Go have a remain March in Stoke or Sunderland and get a million then I'll take note.

Brexit march: Hundreds of thousands join referendum protest
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-47678763

Hundreds of thousands of people have marched in central London calling for another EU referendum, as MPs search for a way out of the Brexit impasse.

Organisers of the "Put It To The People" campaign say more than a million people have joined the march before rallying in front of Parliament.

It comes after the EU agreed to delay the UK's departure from the EU.

PM Theresa May is coming under pressure to quit after saying she might not put her Brexit deal to a third vote by MPs.

She wrote to all MPs on Friday saying she will ditch plans to put the deal to another so-called meaningful vote if not enough MPs support it.

....a joint Ukip and Tommy Robinson demonstration, which claimed to speak for the 17.4 million people who voted leave in 2016 – attracted a crowd of little more than 2,000 people to Whitehall in central London.

Tommo was there to make sure the Brexiteers showed up in numbers at this historic time...

    Brexit - It's Still On!-brexit-betrayal-march-17-jpg

Tommo did draw the numbers but it wasn't the numbers he was looking for:

...But even he(Tommo) may have cringed at the lack of numbers because nearby, separated by a thick police presence, a 10,000-strong anti-Fascist rally dwarfed his own.

Doctor Strangelove was there....along with other retarded looking people, who didn't look like they knew what planet they were on never mind at a Brexit march, but hey they boosted the numbers.

    Brexit - It's Still On!-brexit-betrayal-march-56-jpg

One Brexiteer eloquently explained the embarrassingly low turnout thus:

“It may have been better on a Saturday,” mused one demonstrator, driver Steven Woods, outside the nearby St Stephen’s Tavern pub. “People like to have a pint when they come to something like this. They like to make a day or a weekend of it.”
    The cap says it all...

    -------------

I've saved the best for last, the guest speaker, Paul Oakley, UKIP's immigration spokesman adapted a quote from Sarah Connor, Linda Hamilton’s character in the Terminator films:

“We can’t be bargained with, we can’t be reasoned with, we don’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear,” he shouted. “And we absolutely will not stop, ever, until we get hard Brexit.”

Paul just admitted what we knew all along, Brexiteers are irrational.

However, he might have picked a better role model for Brexiteers than a mass murdering android. I mean he says "We will not stop", but the Android in the film was stopped and destroyed by rational humans in every instalment of the Terminator series of films, a fact Paul seems blissfully unaware of.

Yes, the idea of the elected representatives actually performing their precious role has been subsumed into their own personal gain for a long time.

Let us see what evidence the police have of wilful obstruction, by the "lead drivers" and the local magistrates sentencing. Evidence is required to prosecute all laws.

Here is a definition of you law, from a UK criminal defence barrister:

Careless or Inconsiderate Driving (Road Traffic Act 1988 section 3)

"to block a road, passage, entrance, etc. so that nothing can go along it, or to prevent something from happeningcorrectly by puttingdifficulties in its way:

After the earthquake many roads were obstructed by collapsedbuildings.

Her view of the stage was obstructed by a pillar.

An accident is obstructing traffic on the M11.

to try to stop something from happening or developing: "

    http://www.bestcriminaldefencebarris...section-3.aspx

No blocking of the roads, real or imaginary accidents, fixed barricades, parked vehicles or concrete barriers. Whose opinion determines "correctly"?

All vehicles are able to "go along" the road.

No "difficulties" were in the way.

    Nothing was "stopped".

    IMHO

But then I am not an "appointed" magistrate. But some barristers will be prepared to defend the drivers, if and when they are brought before the Beak.

Looks like a normal Friday night?

It's a bit odd there is no helicopter footage showing the snaking tailbacks going back dozens of miles, considering the:

    "traffic mayhem"
    "motorway chaos"
    "traffic gridlock"
    "mass disruption"
    "standstill"

The British public hate being delayed, especially on a Friday evening, remember when a drone delayed flights? ....any real delay would have gone viral on social media and the msm would have been all over it, no one is talking about it, this is yesterday's news already.

Given the facts, I think it more likely happened like this.

Pro-Brexit campaigners have been prosecuted for inconsiderate driving while trying to bring roads to a standstill.

Devon and Cornwall police said the lead drivers of convoys on the A30 and M5 were stopped and prosecuted for careless and inconsiderate driving.
