Are you laughing at yourself for providing a quote from FLYBMI giving yet another reason why Brexit is to blame?

This was already highlighted by Seekingasylum, have you not being keep track of the conversation?

Here is the official statement by FLYBMI:

“It is with a heavy heart that we have made this unavoidable announcement.

The airline has faced several difficulties(@Nev ..do you understand now there is more than one reason for the company failing albeit they are all Brexit related), including recent spikes in fuel(Ah yes, expensive fuel paid for by changing very weak pounds into very strong dollars/euros ) and carbon costs, the latter arising from the EU’s recent decision to exclude UK airlines from full participation in the Emissions Trading Scheme.

“These issues have undermined efforts to move the airline into profit.

Current trading and future prospects have also been seriously affected by the uncertainty created by the Brexit process, which has led to our inability to secure valuable flying contracts in Europe and lack of confidence around bmi’s ability to continue flying between destinations in Europe. “Additionally, our situation mirrors wider difficulties in the regional airline industry which have been well documented.

“Against this background, it has become impossible for the airline’s shareholders to continue their extensive programme of funding into the business, despite investment totalling over £40m in the last six years.

“We sincerely regret that this course of action has become the only option open to us, but the challenges, particularly those created by Brexit, have proven to be insurmountable.

“Our employees have worked extremely hard over the last few years and we would like to thank them for their dedication to the company, as well as all our loyal customers who have flown with us over the last 6 years.”

^...everything in bold I've already covered in previous posts, but it seems Nev is lacking in basic reading comprehension. No doubt all a fluster as one company after another either dies or flees the UK as a direct result of Brexit.
    --------------------

Oh my!, how long ago it seems now, Brexiteers gazing misty eyed towards a promised land of fantastic trade deals, a new glorious Britannia rising from the ashes, freed from EU shackles.... ...instead their eyes are now watering from the steaming piles of Brexcrement that assaults their senses every time they check the news...

It was only revealed an hour or two ago.

Last year, senior vice-president of Honda Europe Ian Howells told the BBC that a no-deal Brexit would cost the company tens of millions of pounds.
Ian Howells told the BBC that quitting the EU without an agreement would affect the carmaker's competitiveness in Europe.

Of course not, It's just yet another huge coincidence that all these companies are fucking off out of the UK mere weeks before Brexit:

Honda: No-deal Brexit 'would cost tens of millions'

The senior vice president of Honda Europe has warned that a no-deal Brexit would cost his company tens of millions of pounds.

Ian Howells told the BBC that quitting the bloc without an agreement would affect the carmaker's competitiveness in Europe. He said the Japanese firm was preparing for a no-deal outcome but had not discussed relocating its Swindon plant.

The firm builds its Civic model in Britain for the global market. In an interview with Radio 5 live, Mr Howells said a no-deal Brexit would lead to costly trade barriers and disrupt its supply chain.

"In terms of administration, we'd probably be looking at something like sixty odd thousand additional bits of documentation we would have to provide to get product to and from Europe," he told the Wake up to Money programme.

"And clearly if we end up with World Trade Organization tariffs we'd have something like 10% costs in addition on our shipped product back into Europe, and that would certainly run into tens of millions of pounds."

"Likewise when we're looking at componentry coming the other way, again [it could cost] tens of millions in terms of tariffs coming into the UK."

    Supply chain risks

Like other carmakers in Britain, Honda only stores about an hour's worth of components at its Swindon plant to keep costs down. Instead it relies on about 350 truckloads of parts that are delivered from the continent each day. Mr Howells said the loss of "frictionless trade" in this supply chain would harm its production output and competitiveness.

"If we are shipping and competing against a European manufacturer in Europe, they are not incurring those tariffs," he said.

"And in the UK it would be the componentry cost that would be the main additional burden we would have to carry for UK customers."
    --------------

^...Of course businesses don't really care about threats to their supply chain, tens of £££millions in extra costs, rising costs for customers and their competitiveness being harmed, so this is definitely nothing to do with Brexit ..don't you agree Buriramboy?

Just can't help yourself can you, you tedious ignorant thick twat. How about listening to what Honda themselves say to save you yet again making a total fool of yourself. They are moving all European production back to Japan.

We make Bentleys in Crewe and we are laughing. Must be embarrassing taking a pension from a coon state.

So with the FTA the real choice, given these investments usually have a timeframe in decades is do we now move back to japan or stay manufacturing in the EU where the reason for locating there has been removed.

You can tell simple Sybil has hidden away in a classroom TEFLing all his life as even basic obvious business decisions seem alien to him.

Yep. I have no doubt Brexit had some part to play but the timing of the new model and the economies of scale on components and the model itself back in Japan vs the UK or as we'll likely see an EU bid to keep the production in the EU - it just makes economic sense to onshore for them - watch Nissan.

Err, not for much longer, VW are pulling out as indeed are BMW moving all their E stuff to Holland. Ford will be quitting Bridgend and Dagenham and Toyota are about to announce their departure.

Honda would have kept Swindon if it were not for Brexit but with the tariff barriers going up that was never an option. Honda have agreed to spare May's blushes and are attributing their move to a post EU FTA rationalisation but that is of course all bollocks. Britain quitting the CU and SM put the block on Swindon the day the FTA was signed.

As to Bently they currently have a massive expansion going on in Crewe and with 7 new models out this year they ain't going anywhere.

Jeremey Corbyn does make me laugh, he's been written off time and time again by people on all sides. But, against all the odds, every single time he pulls the rabbit out of the hat in front of their startled faces to show what a crafty and experienced virtuoso of a politician he really is...

    Westminster voting intention poll:

    CON: 37%
    LAB: 37%
    LDEM: 8%
    UKIP: 7%

Those figures are just more made up bullshit. Remoaners won't be voting Labour, they will go to Chuka new joke of a party or the Lib Dems. Want a people's vote as long as it's not on them. Sir Nigel of Farage new party over 100k members already, to put that in perspective the Tories only have 125k members. Doris doesn't deliver Brexit and the Tories will get nowhere near 37% of the vote.

It's unlikely the polling company committed fraud by making up the numbers...but I understand why it's easier for you to want to believe that.

Farage couldn't even win his own seat in his previous party, which was very embarrassing considering he was the party leader.

A party whose greatest success was to win 1 of a possible 650 seats, this is the reality, Farage is insignificant, no matter how much he tries to puff himself up in the media.

Nigel's new party will be more of the same, they might win 1 - 2 seats then again maybe zero seats.

You clearly have no idea about the UK electoral system, to go along with every thing else you've ever posted about. Is there any subject you have even the slightest bit of knowledge about?

^Notice how he never argues with any specific numbers, just a generic dismissal when faced with immovable facts.

He's not even considered the fact that Farage's new party will be splitting the racist demographic vote with UKIP

Because you talk shit and when it's repeatedly pointed out to you you are talking shit you just ignore it and go and talk shit about something else.

Let's take the above post where you say the parties biggest success was to win 1 out of 650 seats. They won the last Euro elections where they have PR as opposed to FPTP pushing the Tories and Labour into second and third. As I said you just talk shit and make shit up.

    Polls are not facts.

Knowledge is not the same as understanding.

Opinion polls predicted a win for the Remain vote.

Opinion polls made Hilary Clinton the next president of the USA.

    These are indisputable facts.
