After the lies about the EU published in the UK press and the lies spoken by both leave campaigns, I have no qualms about hearing if there is a change of heart in the attitude of the UK public.
Similarly, although a change of precedent, Bercow didn't do anything more than allow a vote on an amendment. It was on the table for him to choose, the fact he chose the most contentious is, without doubt, because he knew it was important and knew it would be voted through. It serves the PM right for failing to allow the vote before Christmas and does nothing more than put the timetable back on track. One can't push for Parliament Sovereignty one minute and then complain about it the next.
The Maybot was poison as Home secretary and a pure witch as PM. The Maybot agreement, Plan A, is hideous and there is no Plan B. The Tory mandate included the promise of economic prosperity but neither her plan nor the no-deal default can deliver on that, no Brexit plan can. With such a contradictory mandate even a no Brexit is possible.
I won't forgive the UK government, nor the UK media, for lumping refugees, third national economic migrants, and EU migrants together. They are not the same and a distinction is an absolute necessity when it comes to refugees. The forging of xenophobia is her doing more than anyone else; she's a witch in my eyes for that.
The Brexit referendum was a mistake, the organisation of it was wrong and the outright lies towards the EU were wrong. The Brexit negotiations have been mismanaged because there was no idea on how to implement such a mistake and there is still no idea how to implement it. Just because the electorate voted for it doesn't mean it's viable or that it has to happen.
Time to get real and listen to Parliament trying to make sense of the issues and how best to solve them.
