Davis, Boris and at least 2 junior ministers have resigned so far. At least they have honoured their word. It makes Gove seem even more reptilious than before, little toad backing the maybot's plan is quite sickening.

So Brexit means Brexit doesn't really mean Brexit...and the UK has lost too much credibility to cancel the whole nightmare. It's like watching a bad soap ...

Jeremy Hunt is replacing Boris as FS. Will the gvmt make it to March 2019?

Maybot's attempt at a soft brexit is still unworkable. They will need to make some more concessions before the year's out.

Thegent was correct again when he said the maybot had run out of road. I think she should have sacked Boris, Gove and Davis back in February.

    Meltdown looming...

    Who needs Brexit?

China looking to buy stake in UK nuclear plants, say reports

The Chinese government has emerged as a potential buyer of a multibillion-pound stake in Britain’s nuclear power plants.

The talks will reignite debate about China’s involvement in the UK nuclear power industry. Two years ago, the government paused approval for the £18bn Hinkley Point C project because of security concerns over China’s stake.

China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), a state-run corporation, is said to be interested in buying a major stake in eight power stations, including Sizewell in Suffolk and Dungeness in Kent.

The power stations are operated by EDF Energy, a subsidiary of the French company EDF, but earlier this year, the British Gas owner, Centrica, put its 20% stake up for sale. The Sunday Times suggested CGN hoped to acquire a 49% stake, which indicates EDF could be looking to offload some of its shareholding.

The proposed deal would be a headache for Theresa May, who is concerned about giving China greater access to critical infrastructure projects and has initiated a new national security test for foreign takeovers.

Pity of UK to lose such a sensitive diplomat like Boris the clown.

Now, Boris with his free time and as a private person can book a flight to Moscow for seeing the final match of FIFA Cup. He surely would be warmly welcome by his friend Vlado.

I would suggest bypassing Sizewell B, the white domed one on the right. Involved in the foundations design many years ago. Much to young for the heavy responsibilities and time restrictions imposed on the team.

P.S I'm sure they corrected our assumptions prior to the ameristani designed PWR reactor, start-up.

Can't see any way through this fine mess, and May's tactical caution against Corbyn is testament to the rot setting in, though the chances of him reaching Downing Street gives her comfort and allows her to remain weak, timid and incompetent.

I reckon the only consolation for Brits, for what it's worth, is that the EU will continue to steadily dissolve, and this could accelerate as others bolt for the exit, or threaten to.

    Two down, one to go.

Murray funks Wimbledon, England gets pussy whipped, only one more British icon to get ass fucked and we have the best Broken Brexit Britain busted flush this fine summer.

The thing is with May, when she goes down on the Orange Pig to get those flapping geriatric gums around his shrivelled white worm, does she spit or swallow. Does Philip get to tease out the stray pubic hair out of May's maw or what?

^ Not very becomming from a fine upstanding fellow as yourself thegent.

The white paper has finally been published, a halfway house, that fails to deliver any type of brexit, yet fails to improve on the status quo.

Someone needs to stand up and call for a halt to brexit and burn farage at the stake in March instead. It wouldbe a lot cheaper and far more entertaining, worthy of a new public holiday.
