I am passionately pro scottish independence. A big shame though that the SNP plans would be to toss it away immediately and give the country to the Germans. No chance of a nice cuddly socially responsible state when the germans are holding the purse strings and come calling for their tithe payments.

Looks like the first stage of the Brexit cave-in is complete. Mr Farage was less than happy:

Nigel Farage has launched a tirade against Theresa May's Brexit deal, branding it "pathetic" and "not acceptable," saying it will allow the UK to "move on to the next stage of humiliation".
The former Ukip leader posted online shortly after the Prime Minister declared a deal had been struck: “A deal in Brussels is good news for Mrs May as we can now move on to the next stage of humiliation.”
He delivered his scathing riposte after a draft agreement to move Brexit talks on to phase two was announced.

Mr Farage told the Telegraph: "The European Court of Justice will be the ultimate arbiter of EU citizens' rights. This is not acceptable."
    https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/n...-a3713866.html

The full text of the joint report, taken from the BBC website:

    https://ec.europa.eu/commission/site...int_report.pdf

It means those UK citizens currently in the EU can stay without problem and can leave the country for up to 5 years and still return, which is a big result (I was expecting 2 years).

I can't see anything the UK managed to gain from the talks.Looks like they have caved-in on every point. No wonder Mr Farage is so unhappy.

Let his humiliation continue for ever and a day.

Well he has his huge EU pension to cheer him up, the slimey hypocrite.

But yes, after all the rhetoric, now the inevitable humiliation of this utterly idiotic withdrawal is coming to pass.

Farage as usual is correct in what he is saying. But instead of your continued whining you should be happy and celebrating as I thought this is what you wanted to see from Brexit, funny bunch you remoaners as when seemingly get what you want still moan and whine.

Poor buriramboy...can't tell if someone is happy or sad any longer. It won't be long before brexit will mean being in the EU in all but name.

200,000 Euro fine for Bordeaux baker who misnamed his puff pastry

    Charles Bremner, Paris
    December 9 2017, 12:01am,
    The Times
    Food and drink
The baker was found to have illegally used a name given to a similar chou garni by another producer

    DEROR AVI

A pâtissier has been ordered to pay €200,000 by a court in Bordeaux for misnaming his cream-filled pastries.

David Nordera, who runs a chic tea room in Cap Ferret, was found to have illegally used a name that had been given to a similar chou garni by Pascal Lucas, another producer in the resort.

The court was told that Mr Lucas had baptised his chou garni à la crème Chantilly “dunes” in honour of the famous Piquey sand dune, an attraction of Cap Ferret, which is 40 miles from Bordeaux.

His creation went down well and he registered the dune in 2009 as a personal appellation, but other pâtisseries soon adopted it. Mr Lucas took Mr Nordera to court as the most prominent offender after his version, called Dunes by David, became popular.

Mr Nordera described his Dunes by David as “the real stars of the shop window” and paid implicit homage to Mr Lucas’s dunes by saying: “Fans of the original version will come to taste these little sugared pastries that are generously filled with Chantilly à la vanille.”

Mr Nordera’s lawyers argued that dune had become a local name for the pastry and the ingredients and configuration were not identical.

Isabelle Louwerse, the judge, said that Mr Nordera’s dunes looked just like Mr Lucas’s original and could be confused with them. Other dune sellers in the area now expect their own suits from Mr Lucas.
    fukkin bunch of losers.

^ and that has exactly what to do with the EU?

It was a French tribunal to do with using the same brand name; i.e. counterfeit.

Bordeaux: Un pâtissier condamné à 200.000 euros pour avoir utilisé le terme «dune»

Er, Tax, it's a French judge in a French court finding for a Frenchman, in, err, France. What the fuck has that got to do with English brexshitters living in fucking Pontefract?

Tax, you really do need to get a grip on this dementia thing.

Hey, how about this for more evidence of just how scummy English people truly are - the latest craze of the lower end oikish trash in this festive season is the theft of wreaths from cemeteries left by families of the deceased which are then sold in markets as Christmas decorations for front doors etc.

You know, the average English scumbag is lower than a fucking slithering slug.

The giveaway that May has spectacularly betrayed the Brit people was when Juncker started by praising her efforts.

I think Juncker started to realise if didn't get a deal with May then it would be the end of her and he'd then have to deal with a new PM who was prepared to walk away with no deal. May is finished anyway, she can't win an election as is despised by everyone. She'll be gone next year.

God, how one truly does despise the lower class immigrant British oik who fetches up on the shores of his own dire mediocrity wallowing in stupidity and ignorance that constitutes his miserable enfeebled intellect.

The French lost twice as many British fighting for their country in the 1914-18 war and in addition to 1.6 million killed they suffered over 4 million wounded. The Second WW led to a rout for the French as much as it did for the British humiliated and shamed by their Dunkirk retreat when they deserted the French.

A baby's used diaper has more intelligence than you.

Actually, the opposite is more the case in that the perception among the populace and the mainstream Tory party is that she has restored her standing somewhat.

They had no alternative in the leadership contest last year and the situation, if anything, has deteriorated in that any likely contender now is demonstrably a fucking idiot or insane.

If she continues to maintain a sensible course of compromise and common sense I fear she and the Tories could well win the nest GE.

    Ah well.

The final bill is likely to be more than that and by the time the transition period concludes it should be around £50-55 billions. Of course if the Uk were to either renege substantially on this current Brexit concordat or to welsh on payment of their dues then of course it would mean the country will enjoy the status of a nigger coon state in South America and all that that entails.

It's all very well for the brexshit moron and UKIP/Tory loopy fodder scum swallowing all this Gove/Bone/ Rees Mogg/Johnson bombastic drivel but really Tax, one rather expected more from those with something approaching a functioning brain.

The EU will do what they want within reason and if the UK wants a continuing benefit from it then it must pay.

This is just business. The EU couldn't give a rat's ass about the Tories or the stupid English, they just want order and and honourable agreements.

Now, Tax, take it up the arse like a good Brexshit twat.
