The only sticking point for the minority Tory loons and DUP coons was the backstop. If May had had a majority dispensing with the need for the NI niggers you would have had your 1/4/19 Brexit, May would have remained PM, the £ would be around 44 baht and the process of disentanglement would have begun and in the end everyone would have simply forgotten about it as the technocrats and bureaucrats devised a pragmatic exeunt. NI would have sensibly remained an EU zone but within the UK.

But now it's a fait accompli but not one on which the EU will concede ground - BoJo and the DUP coons will have to suck some Irish cock or it will mean a hundred miles of bad road leading to a hung parliament and almost certainly to a government of LibDems/Lab/Treeghuggers.
The transitional deal you mention was based on the UK accepting the agreement at the end of March. If an agreement is reached by the end of October then a two year transition, with probable extension, will happen and no-one needs to worry for a while longer. A failure to accept an agreement will be met with restrictions that are favourable to the EU. The UK attempts at playing hardball will be met with further controlled restrictions.

Blame Gove. Boris should have led the Tories after the referendum. Maybot has done nothing but destroy confidence in the UK.

Boris has two choices now when it comes to the EU, he can go hard and ask them which finger do they want to sit on.

I was actually quoting a Pakistani work colleagues view on the subject.
You are so far detached from your British working class roots it's laughable.
Everyone in the UK knows Brexit will happen and everyone wants a clean break.
You wouldn't be aware of this in your Pattaya slum watching the £ devalue by the day as the silly Thai baht gets stronger.
One day you may have to return home to get your Alvzehmiers treated for free on the NHS, that may be tricky as there is no cure.
Your STDs on the other hand will require some extra strong antibiotics, the damage to your brain is irreversible.

Woke up to find that the Quittlings think Boris De Piffle Johnson is a "man of the people". It could be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic. Two of the most powerful nations on the planet are literally ruled by a Johnson and a Trump.

I can't quite work out whether you are a factory cleaner or a warehouse skivvy, Shitty.

    Or perhaps both?

Clearly, you are uneducated and obviously stupid.

But you do serve a useful purpose in that you provide we more intelligent folk with an insight into how the typical Brexit knuckle-dragging bozo processes Kipper propaganda and reconciles it with what he perceives to be the wider world outside of his own very limited sphere of factory floor, Lidl and his terraced bothy in lower end provincial social housing.

It is actually quite interesting that you repeat the refrain ' a clean, unilateral break from the EU etc '. Given that the weft and weave of the legislative fabric of UK society has been spun on the loom of UK/EU cooperation for over 45 years, a process in which the UK has been a significant contributing agent, the only way such an event could occur would be if we abandoned democracy and introduced a totalitarian state administered by decree. But by dint of what neanderthal imbecilic thinking would anyone wish to break from a socio economic relationship which accounts for over £220 billions worth of trade and 48% of our manufacturing output? Truly stupid and of course beyond reason but then, the British lower end, so ably represented by you, is the least intelligent demographic in Europe.

The Tory party is now gambling on the hope that you are the majority and will vote for them if they 'deliver' on your cretinism.

This is going to be fun.

The £ fell on the news of BoJo's election and the shape of his cabinet to $1.2432. The future is grim indeed but the amusing thing of all this is that you monkeys are too fucking stupid to even know when you fall off the cliff.

Priti Patel to be Home Secretary, a corrupt, stupid, inarticulate, semi-literate, second generation immigrant coon and shill for Modi and Mossad ??

    It's beyond belief.

Oct 31 won't happen, but we are leaving and a Brexit mandated GE appears to be the best/only way to do it. Hopefully Corbyn still leads Labour by then, to guarantee a Tory gov that will take us out.

I also reckon Trump will swing his sights at the EU during his second term, probably not to the extent of an all out trade war but enough to hurt and hasten its demise, which ought to piss off the assguy and his Belgian soulmate but not squirrel, he won't figure what's going on till it happens.

So Brexit will be the trigger point for SeekingAss leaving whorestown and returning to Blighty, silly old soak should have left already instead of clinging on to the notion it won't happen and he will get 50-55 soi6 tokens for his £ again.

    awesome, the UK is doomed

Boris Johnson: New PM to form government after taking office
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-49092327

Boris Johnson will head to Downing Street later after taking over from Theresa May as prime minister.

The new Conservative leader will take office on Wednesday afternoon following an audience with the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

After entering Downing Street, he is expected to announce a clutch of senior cabinet posts, including chancellor of the exchequer and home secretary.

Sources close to Mr Johnson say his top team will reflect "modern Britain".

He is expected to use the opportunity to increase the number of women in full cabinet positions and boost the representation of ethnic minorities.

Mr Johnson won a decisive victory over Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt in a ballot of Tory members - gaining a 66.4% total share of the vote.

Conversations are said to be "ongoing" between Mr Hunt and Mr Johnson about the foreign secretary's next role.

Boris Johnson's political inheritance has all the makings of a disaster.

He has no Commons majority. There is no mandate from the general public - remember this election has only been decided by Tory members.

There are policy problems everywhere in sight, whether that's trying to solve the conundrums of Brexit with a reluctant EU and a divided party, or trying to address deep-seated problems at home.

And just as among his fans there is genuine excitement that he will, at last, be in Number 10, there is scepticism and disbelief from the opposition parties, and double-sided concerns in his own party.

this is most interesting. sounds like boris's response to the extreme left momentum group.

Boris Johnson set to appoint Dominic Cummings as policy adviser in Number 10

This would be a remarkable appointment – depending on how much power Cummings ends up having, perhaps one of the two or three most important of the day. Cummings is an ultra-bright, scruffy iconoclast who worked as a special adviser for Michael Gove before becoming campaign director for Vote Leave. He is credited by some with being the mastermind behind that campaign.

The key point about Cummings is that is he not really a conservative; he is a Tory Leninist who believes British government, and especially the civil service (of which he has been very critical) needs fundamental reform. Officials in Number 10 will be horrified at the prospect of his heading their way. Some of Johnson’s allies in the European Research Group, which represents hardline Brexiter Tories, will also be concerned. Cummings has been caustic about them in the past. For example, this is what he said in a blog earlier this year.

"Those of you in the narcissist-delusional subset of the ERG who have spent the last three years scrambling for the 8.10 Today slot while spouting gibberish about trade and the law across SW1 – i.e exactly the contemptible behaviour that led to your enforced marginalisation during the referendum and your attempt to destroy Vote Leave – you are also in the pirate category. You were useful idiots for remain during the campaign and with every piece of bullshit from Bill Cash et al you have helped only Remain for three years. Remember how you WELCOMED the backstop as a ‘triumph’ in December 2017 when it was obvious to everybody who knew what was going on – NOT the cabinet obviously – that this effectively ended the ‘negotiations’? Remember how Bernard Jenkin wrote on ConHome that he didn’t have to ‘ruin his weekend’ reading the document to know it was another success for the natural party of government — bringing to mind very clearly how during the referendum so many of you guys were too busy shooting or skiing or chasing girls to do any actual work. You should be treated like a metastasising tumour and excised from the UK body politic."

Education in England is no better than mediocre, and billions of pounds have been wasted on pointless university courses and Sure Start schemes for young children, Michael Gove’s special adviser has said in an outspoken private thesis written a few weeks before he is due to step down from his post.

Dominic Cummings, the most influential adviser to the education secretary in the past five years, also argues in a revealing 250-page paper that “real talent” is rare among the nation’s teachers – and, eye-catchingly, says educationists need to better understand the impact of genetics on children. The adviser, known for making fierce demands of civil servants, writes that the endgame for the Department for Education should be to reduce its role to acting as accountants and inspectors, employing hundreds and not thousands of civil servants – and creating an environment in which private and state education would be indistinguishable.

The Cummings manifesto claims that “the education of the majority even in rich countries is between awful and mediocre”, and that the quality of maths education, in particular, is poor.

“In England, few are well trained in the basics of extended writing or mathematical and scientific modelling and problem-solving,” he writes.

with a majority of 1 or 2, a herculean task to accomplish and under fire from all sides boris wont last long.

a g.e. is on the cards, and even with corbyn busy building gas chambers and planning his kristallnacht, a boris win is by no means certain.

a true brexit is looking more and more unlikely.

Boris can win a majority but it is going to mean doing a deal with Farage as Farage can get Labour votes. Then the leave vote will all go to the Tories with the remain vote split between Labour, Libdems, Greens and SNP in Scotland.

The Brexit/Kipper/Nazi scum will be outgunned by the Libdem wins. Solid Labour will win, and marginal Tory seats will go to LibDems because no one wants to see a wog/nazi/Loon hard Brexit there.
It's a toss up - no one knows. It'll be marginal and therefore futile.

They should have the balls to have REF2 - remain or fuck off under any deal options.

    NO matter what, it's shit.

Patel, Cummings, Mordaunt, Williamson, Raab, Truss, Mogg in the driving seat? A bunch of weirdo loser fuckups all queuing up to suck American cock.

As usual you have no idea what you are talking about, Labour have now come out for remain alienating 5 million people who voted for them in the last GE, hence the remain vote will be split in any GE giving the Tories a clear path to a majority as long as some deal is done with Sir Nigel Farage.

Boris hasn't even assumed the throne yet and already you can feel the upbeat buzz about the country. Obviously whore mongers residing in Pattaya on a state pension wont be sharing the euphoria.

You want fucking subtitles Chas, go find a fucking monkey to spoon-feed you.

The Guardian has printed a potpourri of foreign press comments on BoJo the Clown's section which is quite amusing and a point. The Danish insight was a peach ..." Boris Johnson is a man who looks like he sleeps in a car...and that's his style."

The universal opinion is that Britain is irredeemably fucked but the degree of catastrophe has just increased.

Even the Irish say he's a cvunt.
